Sad, I lost my boy Bubba George to tumors on the kidneys.... 8 years he lived and was by far the best Dog i could ever have asked for. I was but a kid when he was here but 16 years later it still tugs at my heart to think about him, he truely was my best friend!!!

I have a 70kg bullmastiff named Milton, he is the gentlest giant ever. the only breed to have. RIP Baby.

How old was Baby when she got cancer? I'm looking at this breed for our family dog and was just wondring how old she was when this happend.

@perfectsmooth Baby was 3 when she first got it. Surgery was successful and she had a few more good years. This is the gentlest, sweetest breed. Baby was a precious part of our family and is still missed a lot. Good luck with whichever breed you add to your family.

@JokerJoker93 Yes, Baby was sort of a funny name for her but it was so weird that anyone who saw her would walk up to her and say, "Hi baby. What's her name?" It was really funny that she was automatically called by Baby, always. :o) And she did fit her name.

I've only just found this video and was very sad to read that you've lost Baby. Run free at the bridge sweet girl - she was adorable! I have a female Bullmastiff and a male Great Dane x Mastiff. They get their fish oil in tinned sardines - but I give them an Ester C tablet every day.

i love BMs so much. it makes me sad that they tend to have many health problems. i think that new blood should be added to the breed from english mastiffs and american bulldogs to widen the gene pool.....

I don't know if they're any harder than other dogs. Baby was more demanding, but I gave in to her and let her. I felt that everything that could have been a problem wasn't because she was so cute and so loving and so unreal sweet.

Not more then other breeds really. We used to have American Stafford Terriers, Pittbulls and a doberman (not at the same time ofc) and now we have Angie, a 6 year old bullmastiff. She's a big baby and loves to eat, she'd eat us out of our house if we'd let her :-D

Great dogs! Not a dumb question, I just give the dogs fish oil because it's good for the heart. We all take it daily.

Baby is one of the most cutest dogs ever! Shes seems lovely! I would have loved a dog like her. I used to have an english mastiff and a bull mastiff. They were lovely too. Baby seems really sweet and calm :)

My dad used to give oily fish to his labrador puppy, which had been badly neglected by previous owners and the transformation was amazing. In a short space of time she had a beautiful, shiny coat and became a normal, bouncy puppy again. It really works wonders!

That is one good looking dog .And its good to see that you feed fish oil . All large breeds should be fed some type of oil be it cod liver or salmon or chicken . Your doing a good job well done.

Go check out sites online or get a book. And be ready to fall in love. :o) Baby is a handful but well worth it. And, I don't know if she's a handful because I spoil her so much or if that is something that is breed specific. Enjoy!

no he doesnt i show bullmastiffs in scotland and i have sevrel champions and this is a gorjis dog i have a red puppy on the way just like this colour i can not wait i also have 3 other reds 1 fawn and 1 brindle ( the actually colour of bullmastiffs ) do you show baby ? x

Thank you so much for your nice comments. Baby did a couple of shows when she was young but when she was three she had cancer - tumors on her back and leg. They left big scars. Because of that and her weight, we thought it best not to breed her so had her fixed.

I was wondering alright!! And yes now that u say it she has the bulldog trait!! Shes lovely tho!! How old is she now? I hav a Bulmastiff and Rottweiler and I think their perfect aswell!! So I know how u feel! Their ur special babys weather they are perfect looking or not!!

You are not putting down my dog at all. Baby comes from a long line of Grand Champions - and both of her sisters were champions. Baby seemed to pick up some traits that come from Bull dogs (my opinion). She is so unique which makes her absolutely precious to me. She's short, fat and that bottom lip - makes her so cute. She has a horrible weight problem and eats low calorie food (a small amount) and veggies-but the weight stays on her. We've had her tested for everything - but this is just her.

i want this color of bullmastiff...i dunno how many different colors there r..i'm thinking just this and fawn...but i got a pug thats fawn so i'd like this..there r some bullmastiffs that r being given away...but their $1000+ dogs..maybe not full blooded..that and their mom died so their being bottle fed so that may be the reason...might go and look at them sometime soon..they're only 2 weeks old..how much u buy urs for?  beautiful dog!

Same fish oil as we take. I buy the huge bottle. Also heard that it's good to sprinkle some oatmeal flakes on their food too. Supposed to be good for them. ? Thank you.

Oh - even with that cute face, she does scare people. When we walk down the street, people get off the sidewalk and cross the street. Or, they run into their houses. Baby just wags her tail and wants to go to them - but - it's not to be.

Many people take fish oil also. It's for heart and vascular health. Baby has dry food daily - w/broth or water, so I always think the teeny bit of oil probably helps her. She thinks it's a treat and loves to catch it. Thank you for visiting and 'meeting' Baby.
