Have a listen to the other Eldorado, by Neil Young, the acoustic version, you might just temper your concept of "great." I enjoy this version pretty much like I enjoy Alice's Restaurant. Not enough nuance for me, though.

Neil Young's vocals are in tune about as often as mine. "Great" is clearly subjective.

Lord, it's like Anton Webern and Arnold Schoenburg never existed. "In tune," what the hell does that mean? You're ancient, quite outdated, and your comment is clearly an example of your misunderstanding of the vast range of sounds from music. "In tune," what nonsense!
