Dude, I am an Indian from Mangalore. Trust me, when i say that most Australians are not racists. I know because i have been there. These attacks are mostly done in low income neighborhoods by gang members from many ethnicities including Asians, Aboriginals, Black, White, and Lebanese. That's partly due to racism and partly because they know that Indian students are weak, and rich, and therefore, make good targets. Perhaps, this is the price they had to pay for being weak.
