Thank you. I'm putting together what I'm getting from the holiday collections, and I was about to buy this. You saved me. Do you have any recommendations as to a palette that has a good selection of nude brown tones as well as a good selection of grays? I can't seem to find anything, and I need it for travel. Thank you.
Ive heard bad reviews on the Tarte, the Too Faced, and now this....chalky, too much binder, gross, unblendable, missing must needed shades for a completed book of colors...shame...I feel that bc they expect to sell out they aren't being as considerate with the quality....I am shocked the WNW Matte Palette has been the cats meow of the season.
Laura Mercier looks like a nice brand, and I have yet to buy bc I havent found something that was amazing to me...I am not sure if their foundations are super as everyone says, but their colors don't grab me...its a shame that this adorable pocket palette couldn't have been a better must have. Taupes and nudes are great for all occasions, so they bombed for nude/taupe lovers.
I've always wanted to get something for LM but never got around to it because it's more expensive and I'm not really sure about the colours and whether it is one of the healthier brands - like if they contain any natural or organic ingredients. Thank you for this video, sweetheart! I like your honesty. It's helpful. :)
they probably used too much binder in their formula...that can happen and ruin pigmented shadows. I've had that happen to me when pressing before, but Laura Mercier stuff should be high end and great quality for the price. I would feel ashamed releasing products that aren't pigmented or inspired. I put so much pride into my products...looks like this company needs to put more care into their product quality.
oh I like this pallette....so far. This is exactly the types of colors I need for work. (I am not allowed to wear crazy colors) I agree the price is high and Naked by Urban Decay is more bang for your buck but I love Laura Mercier shadows. I haven't given the cheek products a good go yet, and am looking for more videos on this pallette. so thank you for posting your thoughts.
@MsTheBow I thought the price point was great!! the quality and color selection was what was lacking for me. I'm glad you like it, Laura Mercier is still my favorite line overall :)
I've glanced at this a few times in Sephora but haven't heard anything about it - glad I didn't pick it up on a whim! I feel like a lot of companies are just throwing together palettes for the holidays and not really paying attention to the quality (I'm lookin at you, Tarte Starlet Palette!)
@PunchyPink87 smart girl!! I didn't even think about the fact that it was probably thrown together in haste for the holiday season. Such a bumber too, I love Ms. Mercier.
I like you. Lol

Personally, I love that there are palettes for cool tones people as most tend to be warm especially the UD naked palettes. Thanks for your review.

The Tarte "Puttin on the Glitz" collection is pretty good though, you might like that one. :)
