Listen to how beautifully the instruments work with the vocals. This is an old video & despite the low quality of the format, there's no doubt that some thought and effort went into creating a work of art as fine as this-even for someone such as me who doesnt understand Pashto. This is in contrast to lack of creativity we see in today's modern afghan music scence where most songs sound like some kid got ahold of a bunch of pots and pans in a kitchen and started banging away. Old is so gold.

It is indeed one of the greatest Afghan songs.

I have been told that this song together with Subhe keshware Maiwât and Man nainawâzam projected Marhom (the late) Sarban into stardom.

May God bless his departed soul and of those who composed such memoable songs for Marhom Sarban.
