The wall doesn't jump in this video. You can just press Y or Triangle button to block that ball. Don't expect to score a FK with this.

A good tip to do the same thing in this video is to; tilt and "hold" your L-Analog to up right after OR while powering up your shot and to curve you could just tilt the L-Analog a bit to the directional you want to curve in. So if I want it to curve right, I will press O and then quickly tilt L-analog to 12 o'clock then slide it into 2 o'clock. Simple and easy.

Nice tutorials, you should mention that in order to release the effect everyone should release the left Stick after the ball is in the Air. If not the effect (like the Curl or Curve) will not take.

i dont mean to sound like 1 of those cocky bastards that say they can do everything with their eyes closed but this technique is pretty easy, but personally i like to curl round the wall, if i'm far enough then a driven shot with backspin and a little swerve or if i'm close enough then under the wall.
