  • Have you noticed any difference in your health?

  • @tallicalad It's hard to say as I have not been using this long term. A year after making this video my filter went into storage as I have been nomadic (and still am). However, it was worth the money as the water in Gibraltar was rank and everyone bought bottled water. I hate doing that.

  • how long time wise , does it take to filter 1 gallon of water this way???

  • @rockyourglock23 Hi - I am not too sure how much a gallon is in terms of the capacity. Also US gallons are different to UK gallons. If you fill the whole container it would take less than half an hour to filter. I forget how many litres it holds.

  • the filters look like dildos...

  • @chadfredrickson1 fluoride is high in your family thats for sure.

  • @mepizzasmangled ....what a zinger...damn was i put in my place ...

  • @mepizzasmangled ..come-on...i was tryin to be funny ...not a typical ...youtube cunt../..im in los angeles ...so im sure im screwed...

  • @chadfredrickson1 i know but still where all being killed slowly i dont like when people make fun of life :(

  • looks good

  • I like the way u pronounce the word 'plastic' my old design and technology teacher used to say it like that.

  • i think that fluoride filter is just a reducer, or does it get rid of all the fluoride? if it does reduce it would be good to know how much it reduces.

  • hope thats stainless steel and not aluminium, aluminium has been linked with causing senile dimentia

  • How is this more environmentally friendly exactly? You have those cartridges, which I assume you throw away!

  • @tallicalad Hi tallicalad - That's a good question. I made this video when living in Gibraltar, and I now live in Brazil. Both are places where people buy filter water in plastic bottles, rather than drink tap water. I think if you look at a small family, how much bottled water they get through each week, compared to these ceramic cartridges. When you look at that level of use of plastic, and level of plastic waste, you have to do what you feel you can to reduce the use.

  • Can i have the link to the site where you bought it

  • @27131014198743 freshwaterfilter - you can't post urls here

  • @simonralli sorry, this does not filter fluoride. It's called a "gravity filter" on freshwaterfilter [dot] com and it says: "This combination gives the gravity filter effective filtration performance across a wide range of potentially harmful contaminants including pathogenic bacteria, parasites and cysts the main cause of diseases such as cholera, dysentry, bilharzia, typhoid, sediment and chemicals, including chlorine." ...no mention of fluoride, which means it definitely doesn't.

  • @NathanSnyder13 For clarity, the fluoride filters have to be purchased as an optional extra, hence the potential confusion.

  • watching your video made me happy, especially how you ended it with a smile. You should do more videos. You come across really nicely as an honest and likable spokesperson. Cheers!

  • @sagency Ah thanks - I do have another video called "The Benefits of Biking to Work". I made that when Sky News were doing their green week, and they wanted people to send in their videos, so I sent that one in and they showed it : ) The latest video of mine was just recording an amazing guitarist in Buenos Aires.

  • yea we have to do what we can to get rid of this fluoride. lowers the IQ..... and the -....

    1:20

WTF IS HE HOLDING???!!! 2 of them!!!

    lol

  • thanks alot for this video very informative

  • the used filter looks like a kebab

  • I like using the old filters as dildos

  • Okay so where would I get this? PLEASE ANSWER!!!

  • @SuperSF100 Mine comes from a British company called "The Fresh Water Filter Company". If you google Gravity Water Filter I am sure you will find many in your own country if not in the UK.

  • Thank you x

  • what kind of filter

  • @facciaditosta You can buy different filters based on if you are just filtering your tap water, or if the water is considerably worse. You should speak to the manufacturer who will be able to provide you with the information you need. I do not sell these, I am no expert, I am just offering people the chance to look at something that can really help reduce the use of plastic bottles etc.

  • I bought one of these filters. They are excellent. It is a good idea not to assume your water is pure.

  • Looks like a modified coffee dispenser.

  • this will not effectively remove Sodium Fluoride or as they like to call it

    sodium monofluorophosphate

the only thing that can remove 97% of fluoride is a reverse osmosis water filter

it obliterates every single piece of heavy metal and bacteria from the water

so you can have a great tasting fresh water supply to last you about 7-12 months

before you need to replace the cartridges

  • Why is it so hard to get this filtered out of the water? For those who believe in it, go to your dentist and get a treatment. Let those of us who do not want it to have the choice.

In our foods and beverages to the point of overload.

  • What companies sell these kind of things in the UK?

  • @horseracing2009 The Fresh Water Filter Company

  • @simonralli thanks

  • Drink rain water instead. Whats good for the cat.

  • Comment removed

  • I appreciate your video but I think your system is the same as Berkey here in the states. Did you know they can't sell those in California? Yes, that's correct because periodic testing showed they they weren't actually removing fluoride. You may want to consider having your water tested after you replace your next filter maybe two or three weeks in just to see what kind of solids are found in the water. Better safe than sorry.

  • Hi - this one is from the "Fresh Water Filter Company" who are in the UK, but you can find others by searching for "Gravity Water Filters".

  • Where can I buy that water filterer?

  • Excellent vid - ty for sharing :)

  • Thanks for the information. Glad there are people out there willing to get this information out to the world.

  • What a pleasant young man. Thanks for the informative video. The closeup shot of the before and after filters was very interesting... I simply imagined my organs filtering and absorbing the crud and find myself even more motivated to find an efficacious and affordable home filtering system. My long term dream is to find wooded, hilly acreage and setup a country studio/home with a well. There are some beautiful areas in this region of the rustic west. Thanks for the great video, Pardnah.

  • What about for college students on a budget, what would be a good temporary solution to this fluoride and perscription medication filled tapwater crisis?

So far, I only found a WaterGeeks 24 oz stainless steel water bottle with a built in level 2 tap filter. Its selling for $18.99. Should I spent money on it?

Oh, and just for reference, when I am looking for these Gravity filters, is it safe to say if it has the words "gravity filter" in it then it filters out fluoride?

    thanks

  • @redeemer61190 Hi - I am not too sure about much cheaper systems. Gravity Water filters do not always filter out fluoride - you need additional part for that.

  • thanks for the vid!

  • Great! Thanks for sharing!

    Mr and Miss C

    ~ Naturopathic Control ~

  • £50 ontop of your water bill..

Personaly think non violent action is best. Boycot your water bill.

Exsplain why. You will pay for clean water but never poisened.

  • Its freaking sick. We should be able to drink fresh water without the need to do this. What the hell is wrong with the fuckers who is in charge of this?!

  • according to Dr. Mercola (you can see his videos on youtube), water filters that have some form of aluminum in them will bind with the fluoride (that's one of the sources of fluoride, being separated from aluminum in the first place) and actually be removed from the water that way. I plan on getting a

Berkey light with the fluoride filters, just sucks that I don't have the money for a whole house filter since you get a ton more fluoride from showers/baths than drinking!

  • where can i get this? i'm in canada o_o

  • @MapleRevolutions As per the comment below - just google Gravity Water Filter and I am sure you will find a number of companies.

  • thanks man where do i get this i really need to get rid of flouride now just incase this whole government nwo conspiracy is true it might not be but id rather be safe than sorry..... do you have any sites where i can buy this from

  • @JordanDinstrumentals Hi - i was trying to make a video here that was not trying to "sell" any one manufacturer, since I think a number of manufacturers make these. Mine came from the Fresh Water Filter company in the UK, but you can research other companies by googling "gravity water filter".

  • I read the comments here and the general consensus is that a low cost filter will not remove fluoride from tap water.

Does anyone know the cheapest way to remove fluoride from water? And preferably something that's easy to build.

    Thank you :)

  • I checked online about these. The fucking filters cost almost as much as the unit itself. WTF?

  • I want fluoride taken out of the water! It's not natural! Fluoride isn't part of gods water!

  • Sorry to be a kill joy but Filtration of tap water does not remove Fluoride niether does reverse Osmosis units niether does Distillation units ask any of the manufacturers and they will say it reduces it..Dont believe all the bs they tell you ...just look at the molecular structure of flouride 1 the molecules of flouride and h2o are virtually the same so filtering and reverse osmosis will only reduce floride and the boiling point and freezing point is simular to water so that rules out distill

  • @SuperIMALWAYSRIGHT THE PERFECT POISON FOR WATER

    one could say

  • @SuperIMALWAYSRIGHT What does remove flouride from the water then if i may ask?

  • @BADBITCHY Filtration and then distillation.

  • @HiFiman4u but isnt what this machine does ? doesnt it distilate water ? or is there better ways to do it ?

  • @BADBITCHY No this machine is just a gravity type filter.Water distillation is the process of boiling a liquid and then reconstituting the steam back into a liquid in another container.Since metals are solids they are left behind in the boiling chamber. The problem with distillation is that it also removes essential minerals.

  • @BADBITCHY The only way to remove flouride is to add another chemical ...Which defeats the object because we want to drink less chemicals..So the best way is to start with a purer water source such as the distilled water that you can buy which is 99.98% pure or filtered well or rain water .

  • there is no filter for 8 pounds that will remove fluoride.

  • have you had the "filtered water" tested? how do you know its taking out all that it says if you havent? A company can say it takes out flouride, but it may only take out a very very small percent of anything! If it takes out 1% of flouride, they can market it as it takes out flouride, or chlorine, or heavy metals!

  • @wheelori814 Well you make a good point and these are questions for the companies that are selling these. I guess at some point in time you have to trust some people otherwise everything you touch will seem as poison ay? Always good to be cautious though.

  • @simonralli Im sure you can buy a water tester for under a £10ner to test if your filterd water has any flouride or chlorine left in it, you can get those chemical droppers that turn the water pink etc. Anyway nice video, im gonna purchase one soon.

  • @k12rising Chlorine is a gas and it naturally dissipates from water in a container in about 24hours as long as the container is not airtight.

  • @simonralli the point is to reduce the probability not convert everything your body interacts with as a possible threat to 0%. What you put in your mouth is what fu\cks, so you might as well digest particles that humans have been used to eating for the past greater than 210 years (< 1700 AD) so you don't have to become a scientist and analyze bulls\hit that would take an average person 39 years of research to figure out what everything does to a human that is being sold in grocery stores now.

  • @wheelori814 Do you know where we could find information about someone testing the water that their filter is cleaned? I cant really do it on my own since those kits are expensive

  • @P8NTBALLER987 look in your yellow pages for a lab, just tell them you want your water tested and ask them how much it would cost. Get a sample in a clean glass container and bring it in. you dont have to tell them it was filtered or anything.

  • you mention it filters out all the bad bacteria and metals and what not, but does it also take out the good bacteria and vitamins and stuff that our bodies need?

  • @DomtheRad LOL there is no good bacteria and vitamins in water.I think you are referring to minerals and yes it will remove a lot of thosebut not all.

  • At least 50 percent of the population will be familiar with those 'filters' already.

  • @hablerz Funny, a few others have made the same observation : )

  • my only concern is the filtering of essential minerals like calcium, what is the brand of your filter and what exactly does it filter?

  • look like vibrators lmao

  • @moosoom2010 your naughty

  • Is Simon very slightly anally retentive?

  • @NortonGreg1830 Hi - sorry I do not know but that is a good question. If you note in this video, I have not tried to mention the name of this particular product - this was meant to be a video about the importance of filtering your own water.

  • got JESUS ?

  • i dont believe it takes out the fluoride..

  • Name brand part numbers and such would make this a better vid that is just my opinion

  • @keneyed209 I don't think carbon filters remove fluoride, only revers osmosis does.

  • @fattonybob Crap I didnt mean to send that to ya

  • Extra flouride candle at £8? My arse!

Where do you get yours? The only seller I know of in the UK is Kernowrat. £37.95 + £7.50 p&p

  • thats it .. pour it down the drain ...!!!! WASTE ...you sir most Definitely F-A-I-L

  • The berky alone does NOT remove floride. I found the AquaRain gravity water filter works even better, smaller micron. It does not remove ALL floride either, about 80%.

  • Drink Clean Water. Atmospheric Water Generators In Stock Now ! MahaffeyITI(dot)com

Add us on myspace at myspace(dot)com/mahaffeyiti

  • PF-4 attachments for those with ceramic filters take out fluoride; for those with black Berkey filters they use PF-2 arsenic/fluoride filters.

  • i wish i knew where to find that in canada

  • You could try googling "ceramic water filter" or "gravity water filter" Regards

  • hello mate, im from london, where can i get a filter to remove fluroide, let us know. CHEERS

  • Comment removed

  • TY so much, i've been looking for something exactly like that for a while, I'm tired of the government poisoning me lol.

  • Even if your skin repels 75% of all chemicals and toxins in the water, that still leaves 25% of chemicals that make their way through your semi-permeable skin and into your body. That means one 15-minute shower is the equivalent of drinking 8 glasses of polluted water.

When you take a hot shower, toxic chemicals are liberated from the water and released as gasses, including chloroform (50% more released) and trichloroethylene (TCE) (80% more released) -- both known carcinogens.

  • On average, you consume between 1-2 gallons of water a day, but on average you expose yourself to 25 gallons of water when you shower. The U.S. Council of Environmental Quality reports that cancer risks for people who drink chlorinated water are 93% higher than people who dont.

  • This is great, but it won't help with the chemcicals absorbed while showering/bathing through our skin. We also inhale it through the steam.

Consider these facts about the danger of chlorine exposure -- and remember chlorine is just ONE of the chemicals in your water right now:

  • Can you please tell us the name of this water filter?

  • Yep - it is a gravity water filter from the Fresh Water Filter Company based in the UK

  • Berkey (not Berkley like i keep saying), there are different models. Search online for Berkey water filter.

  • The goverment put it in our water for various reasons such as to dumb us down and keep us docile, also in some cases harmfull diseases can occur in keeping with the goverments overall strategy of lowering the population, if no body believes this then do some well needed research, thanks for the great video

  • @BePrepared2012 I agree - read the iron mountain report - talks about world depopulation up to 90%...peace :)

  • good video would you tell me where did you buy this filter? Is there anythink around Leeds? How much is that? Cheers

  • Hi - it is from the "Fresh Water Filter" company. If you google them you will find them. I used to live in Leeds but think you may need to orider this on line.

  • I use an electric water distiller, waterwise 4000 (waterwise dotcom).

But you have to call them and ask a sales rep to get a discount on a refurbished model, at least that is what I did;)

They do also offer a shower filter which I believe uses some sort of reverse osmosis but I have yet to try it.

  • Hi Sims, I've got a Berkey too. There's a few other ways too. My vid response you can see the grey and white powder residue they put in the water.

  • You pay "them" to put it in then you pay again to remove it. do you realize that you are paying for the same water over and over?! What goes down the drain is filtered and sent back to your tap. That is a scam!

  • Hmm... stop paying your water bill then? See how much you appreciate it then.

It costs money to pump and filter water. There's a lot of energy that goes into just MOVING water or wastewater from one location to the next. Infrastructure. Maintenance. Power.

    Educate yourself.

  • how does it work?

  • Wake up the gov is trying to kill us. Do you think they're going to give us Fluoride out of the goodness of their heart? They don't want us to live long and leech off the system.

  • Get real, they don't know what to do with it so they're dumping it in the water. My parents and parents before them did fine without it and chlorine gets the job done so, you're in serious denial if you think the gov. is looking out for our welfare.

  • hi mate do you work yourself for government? cause you sound like them. History tells us government never cares for people. Well unless they need some support from people. Simple.

  • @Oasis26 "Dental studies have shown that children who drink fluoridated (at about 1 ppm) have a 60% reduction in the formation of cavities" well sh\it, maybe I should be drinking fluoride instead of water? That would mean my teeth would be so clean, right, isn't my teeth health more important than the rest of my body? right?

  • @Isaidsohaha you are right on the money the government doesn't care about you. YOu don't wear seatbelts becuase the government cares about you they don't love you. Its so if you crash they don't have to pay for your accident. That is by law. That is what my AP Government teacher told us.

  • Why don't you read up on what fluroide does to the human body you idiot. I've done my research, I think you need to be more informed!!

  • Actually, you get high dosages of fluoride a LOT more often than you may think. The feed systems on fluoride are touchy rascals and prone to break down due to the corrosive nature of the substance they are feeding. Plus, the operators of POTW's can be some of the laziest creatures on earth (political hirees), they don't exactly care if you get a hot dose, just so long as they aren't bothered.

How do I know this? I used to be in the field and I wasn't impressed.

  • wow you called him an idiot. $50 says you are a mormon am i right ???

  • @Isaidsohaha And what do you think of fluoride from your research?

  • you're an idiot. that's like saying hydrochloric acid is good for you because citric acid is. calcium fluoride is found naturally and does have some benefits. sodium fluoride is a by product of aluminium manufacturing and is considered toxic waste. you're not even allowed to dump it in the ocean. but they put it in our water

  • Um what about the other uses? Like dishes, washing food, bathing, etc? Doesn't look like it can handle showers or baths, and that's the most vital aspect.

  • Gret Vid Simon. Can you tell me the name of the supplier? I live in Ireland could not quite catch the name you said. Thanks.

  • filter looks like a dildo ...can a women use it filtering water?

  • sick man thanks!! ppl need to wake up and stop poisoning their bodies with flouride water and asparatame etc...

  • Ummmm... yuck?

  • Good info, thanks for that. Interesting point you make about Fluoride, we get enough of the stuff in our toothpaste let alone double dosed again in water supplies!

  • Hi - I am not too sure what a "big bag sodium fluoride" is. If you use google I am sure what you are looking for will be on there.

  • rat poison.

  • dude i live in the USA and its HELLISH with all these chemicals here.. where can i buy one or 2 of these?! please let me know ASAP!!

    Thank u and God Bless

  • BERKEY water filter

  • I'm sold!

  • 50 British pounds to purchase 2 filters to last you 6 months = $99.-- American. Thats $200 a year. Which like he said, is a lot cheaper then purchasing bottled water, which is really only tap water filtered 6 times...

  • i believe the filter is made out of ceramic. this is the only material that will strain virii, being the smallest of any organic living organism.

  • thanks a lot for posting!

  • ok... so I think I'm going to purhase one... Just wast to make sure ...It DOES remove flouride??? That is important to me..

  • lewdlexi: it DOES filter out flouride IF you buy the adapter. its like $40. I LOVE my berkey filter, I NEVER drink water right out of the tap. I have like 3 gallons of already filtered water in the fridge, so I always have enough "cold-filtered-water"

  • ggg views???

  • I have 2 Berky's, they're great with the black purification elements.

  • I cannot find this online. Please could you tell me where to find it.

  • Thank you.

  • is that a berkey ? nice videos btw!

  • Get rid of the Teflon Pans in the back ground. Mercola . com

    More info on that.

Try the Black Berkey filter it gets more stuff.
