  • looks like the stones are stil here and that later yoko plastic influenced shit aint!here here to the comments bout the song,i mean beatles 64 to that shit 'let it be' talk about over fukin rated...garage punk always wins....this songs great.................and for the 2 remaining beatles????

  • It isn't nonsense at all. It comes from Keith Richards himself. Try reading Keith's book 'Life'

It's not a difficult thing to grasp. These are Keith Richards words and not mine. If you have problem with this, write to him and not me.

  • If it is bullshit, it is bullshit from Keith Richards himself. It is in his book "Life"

Keith said that John practically lived at is house. Perhaps you might like to see for yourself and read the book?

  • That´s very good rhythm and blues, Marita, nothing else. I love you.

  • Great song written by the legendary Bobby Womack

  • love that twangy guitar so great who is that bill W on that guitar?????? so rich !

    that makes the song

  • what the fuck is wrong with you all :D?!

it's not raw at all...it's the rawest and most boring version of this song..listen to it live, then it's only raw because of the screams though, but at least raw.

  • They will always be raw and great...

  • the solo is fkn great

  • i'm gonna agree with lennon

  • I think the solo is kinda bad sorry

  • nothing wrong with the middle solo....it works.

who cares what lennon thought....he lost his way. and dont tell me he never created shit music. too much to list after the boys visited india. i quit pop music and discovered jazz...thanks for that john!

  • anyone else want to kiss that tounge thing?

  • The Jones licks, can unstick them off my brain. The Richards solo, I don't think is the best thing of the song. I suspect the popularity of the song has much to do with the opening and ending of the tune, thanx to Jones. For the rest I prefer the original by the Valentinos.

  • The Rolling Stones Rock !!

  • cover version of The Valentinos (song by Bobby Womack) but a totally brilliant cover version

  • simply n' easy..yes its over now babe...

  • John Lennon was not a stupid bastard but keith richards is

  • one of the great Stones songs ,,,,Friggin awsome...they defy the physics of time and Rock N Roll

  • @111msfisk I paid .99 cents back in late 1969!!!

  • Love how Mick says "Yeah!" in the background. You can hear it on "Get Off Of My Cloud" too.

  • One of my favorite songs

  • great rock and roll

  • John Lennon told Keef that his solo, in the middle of this song, was shit. I quite like it though. Very Chuck Berry-ish

  • @DrGomez1 That's because John Lennon was a stupid bastard.

  • @JaysGOP Are you serious??

  • @artak12 Yes

  • @DrGomez1 if thats true then he deserved to be shot

  • @daveceaser13 It's in Keith Richards autobiography, 'Life'. But they were very close friends, and Keef regarded John as a brother. The comment was made to Keef from one mate to another. KR was devastated by Lennon's death. I doubt he would agree with your sentiments.

In fact, I think Keith would be horrified by that statement.

  • @DrGomez1 What would Lennon know? He sucks!

  • @EvilAnticsLive no he frickin wasnt, he may have been an arse sometimes but musically he was a genius and nothing less

  • @8down10 Huh?

  • @EvilAnticsLive you said lennon sucks and i said that he didnt

  • @DrGomez1 bullshit......... did he like john didnt have better things to do in the biggest band in 1965

  • @DrGomez1 thats nonsense.never heard that before.

  • @reg5381 It was in Keef's book, "Life." Wrote the words himself.

  • @DrGomez1 Fuck John Lennon, he was an arrogant dick in fairness.

  • The Rolling Stones' 2nd American hit single, February 1964. Real funky C&W with a Blues twist!

  • GREAT SONG,

GREATEST BAND !!!! I send this out to all those who fooled me...

    SING IT SIR MICK !!!!

    hugs

  • MMMMMMM... those wear the days :-))))))))

Was a great tune day and night... night and day !

  • my tatoo.......

  • Just the guitar playing alone makes this worth listening to.

  • I love guitar oriented rocj n roll

  • keith's voice, makes this better, makes it rolling stone.

  • @2803leo 100% Spot on.

  • The one and only song I knew all the words to when I was a child...That was 8 years ago. Thank you Dad for playing those tapes (yes, tapes).

I have much love for the Stones.

  • @datatronx That's well placed love. I can remember playing a 45 (ask your dad about that one) of Not Fade Away flat so when you put the arm of the record player on the vinyl it just went straight to the other side without playing a note! The Stones have been a little over done the past twenty years or so for me but do yourself a favor and check out everything they ever did up to and including Exile On Main Street. You will not be disappointed. Good listening.

  • Excellent guitar playing ! These guys rock.

  • Have Mick and the guys hit 70 yet?

  • and they call Elvis the king.bet mick has sold more album than Elvis did

  • NOW THIS IS WHAT I CALL GODDAMNED FUCKING REAL MUSIC!!!

  • Anybody who hasn't, check Keith Richards' new auto-bio "Life"...a GREAT read....a total page turner....contains a good story about recording this song at Chess Studios in Chicago with Muddy Waters looking on....yer pal, Rama Lama

  • Love the closing chords. This song ROCKS!

  • @MrAlsfan5 I know, those chords stick with me!

  • Grew up with the Stones (in the 60's) and they're still around !

Way to go guys. Great Rock and Roll

  • As I recently read in Keith' book " Life ", that is the song John Lennon critized the solo-part in it. I like it...but I'm not John.

  • @ceegee71 Fuck John Lennon. That preachy asshole was at best the third most talented Beatle.

  • @VenousTadpole im a STONER...but Johnny Lennon is NYC..He COOL AS HELL!!! Only Beatle that gets a pass (other than Ringo for CAVEMAN!!) But John Lennon....Instant Karma gonna getcha! He was the chillest, realest BEATLE...BUT STONES 4ever!!

  • @VenousTadpole You are a moron.

  • @BeholdAndSee93 It was a joke, you simpleton.

  • @BeholdAndSee93 I stand behind the third most talented part though.

  • @VenousTadpole There's no need to go around saying fuck this fuck that. And John Lennon co-wrote almost every single Beatles song with Paul McCartney so you're just plain wrong.

  • @BeholdAndSee93 Calm down man. No need to pay any attention to someone trolling youtube comments. I only said something because Lennon's unsolicited criticism of another's work came off as douchey and pretentious.

  • @VenousTadpole You come off as douchey and pretentious going around hating. I'm done though, if you don't get the genius of John Lennon then I'm sorry for you peace and love homie

  • @BeholdAndSee93 Actually that's not true. They agreed to sign almost every song together, but it's well known that they wrote different songs. You can usually recognize who wrote what, if you know them well enough. And if you don't, on the web there are many sites who explains who wrote what.

  • THEY ARE THE MY FAVORITE WHITE BAND, BECAUSE THEY GIVE THE PROPER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT TO THE BLACK BLUES PLAYERS THEY WERE INFLUENCED BY PROUDLY....SPEAKS VOLUMES...AND YOU ALWAYS HEAR IT BUT NOT OUT OF THE MUSICIANS' MOUTHS LIKE THE STONES....ELVIS WAS A THIEF....STONES ROCK!!!

  • i love this song cause it's sooo groovy! x0D

  • Den beste på 45.....

  • This is when The Stones were a real blues band and they were raw and great!!

  • @johnbutts2006 Agreed ♥♥

  • This s when The Stones were a real blues band and they were raw and great!!

  • @johnbutts2006 truth my friend! :D

  • you just need tunes

    .

  • First single I bought. :) Still love em.

  • Lovely guitar sound and great vocals. My favourite era for the stones.

  • Je crois que c'est leur premier n°1

  • Well, baby used to stay out all night long She made me cry, she done me wrong She hurt my eyes open, that's no lie Tables turn and now her turn to cry Because I used to love her, but it's all over now Because I used to love her, but it's all over now Well, she used to run around with every man in town She spent all my money, playing her high class game She put me out, it was a pity how I cried Tables turn and now her turn to cry
  • Well, I used to walk in the morning, get my breakfast in bed

When I'd gotten worried she'd ease my aching head

But now she's here and there, with every man in town

Still trying to take me for that same old clown

  • This song was first written by the Womacks, who sung it under the name The Vallentino's and it was produced by Sam Cooke.

  • I used to fuck her but its all over now.

  • @111msfisk Lucky!

  • Spent all my money, playing her half-ass games....did I hear that right ?? The Stones Rock !

  • @Rustina61 You did!

  • @Dylanchris73 Awwriight ! Nothing like the Stones to get my heart thumping and banging. Thanks boys !

  • @Rustina61 Actually Mick is saying "high class games". I like your version better however....seems to go with their working class style...

  • @Rustina61 high class games" i guess...

  • @ggchuck1 the Valentinos sing "high class game" but Jagger definitely said "half ass game"; they got their version banned on some radios for those words...

  • she put me out it was a pity how i cried !!!!!! awwwwww so sick this just comes so correct on so many levels

  • if you have ever been 'raked-over-the-coals' like i've been by a woman, this song makes all that much more sense to you. that's not my idea of 'fun'."..it was a pity how I cried" But at-least, It's All Over Now.

  • I was born in 1967 and can still remember very well that my brother, the late 70s, the German NOVA-Records-pressing of "Rolled Gold" borrowed from friends from school - the song I liked from the beginning, very, it has to date not changed because it brings good humor and pure into the house when you already feel like this sound and feel of spring sun. All the best from Germany.

  • This has to be my all time favorite Rolling Stones effort................without a doubt!!!

  • Damn brilliant.

  • Yes one of their finest creations! As good as some of the best paintings of Vincent van Gogh. The guitar playing in this song would have influenced countless bands and composers. It's uplifting, musical, joyful.

Oh to have been on a dance floor, dancing in front of the band, when I was fourteen :)

  • I love the intro so fuckin much !

  • Prachtige muziek,mooie herinnerinfgen

  • Yes, highly acceptable. Thank you.

  • Oh Yeah - saw it LIVE :))))

  • Fantastic song!!!! One of their best.

  • you fucken bitch its all over now

  • Just read Keith's book and it was funny to read that his mate John Lennon slagged off his solo. Never thought about it before but yeah it is a bit 'jammed'

  • I USED TO LOVER HER BUT ITS ALL OVER NOW

  • OK what 2 retards hit the dislike button????

  • @eoj2495 The 2 b***** that used to be loved hit those thumbs.

  • @eoj2495 iknow what the hell

  • @clyde8her. I hear "Bobby Womack" the writer of this tune. Get "Hipped"!!!

  • Classic! Pure quality! This will never beat!! Love every crochet beat of this single!!

  • Hey Spillpower you got that right

  • he he he that's cos she was a bitch!!!!!

  • her turn to cry

  • This is what makes the Stones the best rock and roll band ever !

That amplified guitar gong sound at the beginning and the end is so

out of sight ! What is that ? And Mick's voice ---OMG---can you dig it?

  • @danettecute OMG, I can dig it. It's a Great Treat when I read comments like yours that teach me something about how other people hear the song: I never thought about "that amplified guitar gong sound" -- your more detailed perception helps me notice more aspects to enjoy about the music.

    The Stones do indeed rock.

  • Mick is PREACHIN' right here, brothers.

  • I hear Chuck Berry all over this song...what a classic.

  • @clyde8her Please don't hurt me, but I forgot about Chuck Berry for a minute! Going to have to enjoy some more good music, like this song here. Thanks man!

  • @Pr3lude9 Hey, no problem. I lived in England from '63 to '66 and saw the Stones the first time they were on TV. There was a guy who had a movie on Saturday mornings and he would feature local talent. Well, guess who? There's Mick and Brian (the heart of the Stones) and they blew me away. I was 11 and I told my Dad that they would be huge someday. He guffawed something like "they look like something that crawled out of the sewer" but I knew....

  • @clyde8her That's awesome. I'll be in England soon! Looks pretty nice. However if I never touched a guitar, I probably wouldn't be listening to this music. I really enjoy listening to others talent when it comes to instruments, now. In other works, keep on rockin'!

  • Still Trying To Take Me For That Same "Old Clown" = Well It's All Over Now........What A Classic.....

  • heard this today for the first time on Chris Evans's breakfast show - what a start to the day>!!

  • Yaah! I used to love her, it all over... :-(

  • Love this song, no tragic love story involved in this post.

  • Over now. Me and my girl had been broke up last month. I dont have anything to talk about that love-affair!!! She was just a bitch!!! Love me then said: "We've been too far, we must break up!!!" That's all.

  • Spendin' all my money, playin' her high class games

  • Great tune. Yeah, the Valentinos version is hot and if you poke around you can find Ry Cooder's version which is fantastic. And so is Mark Sepic's version.

    Thanks blussmusikk.

  • The incredible footwork and charisma of the one and only Mick Jagger !!

  • i like this song

  • I love the Stones.

  • Muantab....like this song....

  • The Stones are the BOMB!! I love them!

  • This song was written by Bobby Womack and was originally recorded by an American rhythm and blues band called the Valentinos.

  • this song was wrote by paul mccartney and john lennon

  • @HarryMitchell93

    You stupid man

  • @HarryMitchell93 Maybe you're thinking of 'I wanna be you're man'? 'Cos it certainly wasn't this!

  • @HarryMitchell93 There speaks a man who knows nothing
