chanters are like sins, there just not balanced at lower lvls, sins are so hard to lvl with because you cannot fight 2 mobs at once without nearly dieing or running, chanters are hard to pvp with till lvl cap because they can be kited endlessly until they burn up there mp then they die, but once they hit 50 they are half cleric half gladiator with decent heals and decent melee's they even get ranged abilities, if you choose sin/chant stick it out till the cap because chanters are so much fun@50

@jaroncyr Actually, Aion is in the 2.0 stages right now and as a 55 Chanter currently I'm more disappointed in the class than ever. They are now unbalanced at all levels, including lvl cap and the weakest and most unenjoyably pvp class. =/ Everyone got stronger than us. We got a flurry of useless skills, some of which do more harm than good in certain situations.

@CutePuppy666 yeah having played 2.0 now i would have to say that chanters got left behind, i can out dps a chanter in a straight 1v1 on my 55 cleric with no need to use any heals other then my instaheals, chanters seem to lack the burst or heals to define their place in player vs player, my wife played a chanter all the way to 54 and rerolled cleric because she couldnt win any duels on her chanter, dueling other skilled classes exposes the chanter to having to try and kite with no effect

@jaroncyr Yeah, I was lvl'n a Sorc to have fun with cuz Chanter is just too lame for pvp now, but NCsoft kinda murdered pvp off completely in 2.0 and haven't added anything new pvp related so I just stopped playing. ;/ Probably won't play it anymore till it becomes an actual pvp game. ._. I like playing DPS healer hybrid-like classes in MMOs but I unfortunately picked the wrong class. Cleric is the real pvp hybrid class, and I woulda picked that instead if I knew.

This Sorc dont understand Soul Freeze.

Casting Soul Freeze on an enemy with full hp is just stupid.

Cast the chantor beyond 50% HP, cast Soul Freeze and the chantor cant do anything.

sorcerers have like 3 CCs and a stun...a good sorc would def not let u heal urself back to full that many times

Well you don't get a range skill till 42 so it's really hard to catch people who run away. You don't get a good Heal spell till 45. Then you get lotsa sexy skills at 50. Also need an attack speed staff.

GF....if you go atk build tho just 1 MC would brake his shield then SS (pray it lands) Soul Crush followed by heaven's judgement and then a chain and he will be pretty much down ^^

I have the MC line stigmas sitting in my warehouse been wanting to try it but want a better staff first.

I have better armor now so far and been tossing MR into it. Man, MR rocks so hard, Resist resist resist! :3

Much easier when you use Greater Healing Potions. :)

I don't use items in duels so it's a lot harder.
