@birdruber just bought it yesterday. I also have an E51 and an E50. Compared to them the screen is marvelous! To be honest, I havent seen such vivid colors and details on any phone screen yet, perhaps apart from the iPhone. And as to the text, you just need to swich the homescreen mode to Basic and all of that goes away :) Really, fantastic phone.

@myciello Hi, I'm in the process of buying a new nokia phone. I've had the n93, n93i and 8800 scirocco for over 03 years. Loved them all..no problem whats so ever. Now, should I opt for the E75 or E72. Or wait till the N8 comes out?

@varsanx4 I have E75, it is GREAT on messaging, no lag (for me). Only bad thing, which i find is that the slider CAN be bit loose, not too badly , but when u want perfect phone, it might annoy u. :P Imo its great for "normal" phone, if u dont like touch screens.

About the camera, its decent, not bad at all..  In light , its good.

Hi. I have a question. Do u have the list of the last chosen receivers in your options when sending sms? In older Nokias u have that list, u could choose from your favourites, from last calls numbers etc. Here i can't find any of these. Only that phone book every time.

Best feature on this phone, that isn't talked about, is "net call" enter in your sip voip provider and make free calls via wifi world wide.

ALSO bar code reader is an amazing technology which you will see mainstream soon, one bar code can hold your entire contact info amazingly easy to use too.

I will I could use this as a universal tv remote though,

battery life s ok but not that good! It's gonna last for 1 to 2 days maximum, but if ur not using it its gonna last for 2 to 4 days!!! hope that helped.

I own it for 3 months now and i love it even if i got used to it. THe only problem im having now is slide. see, how the screen changes when you use the keyboard to horizontal: sometimes the screen changes by itself when im not using the keyboard!

yes you are very right it is a great mobile but the worst thing in it is its sliding. and there is a stupid thing that you cant make the screen horizontal except when you open the keyboard unlike the n95 which you can make the screen horzintal without sliding the other part.
