Actually, the parade takes place on Congress and 4th street, the gay area of downtown Austin! And yes, Austin is one of the most gay friendly city in Texas. I've been here for 25 years and counting! YAY!!
I'm pretty sure it was on 6th st. I was standing right next to the Spaghetti Warehouse. Some of the organizations include Bird's Barber Shop, Best Buy, APD, HRC.
I want to go to one of these so badly! Looks like fun. :)
