@qwertyzook anyway thats only the standard uniform in different countries and different formats of the game the umpires wear a different uniform for example in most 20/20 games in Australia the umpires wear red but they do sometimes wear blue, white I have seen an umpire dressed in yellow before so he didn't look like a player.

Leg bye is signalled by tapping the leg, but there's no need to signal a bye with your other hand.
Penalty runs are signalled by either tapping or placing (depending on whether it's to the batting or fielding team) one hand on your opposite shoulder.
