The major difference is the thrustline. The RAF has a high thrustline which can present problems during thottle changes and can also lead to PIO. The Sparrowhawk is set up so the thrustline passes through the center mass of the gyro so there's little chance for PIO due to throttle changes. The Sparrowhawks landing gear is taller because the cabin is raised to achieve the center line thrust.
