Can you be a little more clear please? Well, a fourstroke sounds better than a twostroke but the twostroke has more HP... Why the 916 sounds "better" matter of opinion, is beacuse it revs more. much much faster throttle response. Not because it got more HP.
you are on the right track, but mostly exhaust noise differentiates due to the number of cylinders/pistons firing, compression ratio, rpm, size of the chamber, and the order/position in which they fire. For example a inline four sounds much different than a V-4, such as the desmocidici or Honda VFR's. But you are right HP has little to nothing to do with noise. Of course the design of exhaust matters too!! so many factors...
What do you guess, I think? V2 sound at its best, this bike is my dream! I also would buy Aprilia RS250 and an old Moto Guzzi. Sadly, I have a driving licence only for cars.

try listening to a Ducati desmocidici. literally sounds like you are listening to a NASCAR V8 rev. Almost blew out my eardrums.

too bad it has only 88HP. Imagine if it had more, that would be a nice sound. Probably like 916 or similar..

I'm sorry to spoil your expectations but HP has nothing to do with the sound, It's the engine size, intake (I believe) and the exhaust that matters.

Like I said, 916 ducati.... and 907 isnt it similar size? so, HP is the answer. Try listen 916, 996, whatever....

That comment really makes sense...

Frankly, I know all those tings you said, but thanks for the info anyway :D.
I was too tired to write those things down, I just wanted to say that HP has nothing to with sound.

When I see this bike, the first ZX-11 comes to mind. The nose, windscreen, and the seat.

it sounds like it's going to die any second. Why don't you warm it up first next time.
