Pretty in pink always bothered me. He totally ignores her after she falls in love with him, just because he's a wuss who can't stand not having the approval of his friends, then he goes up to her at the prom and basically tells her it's all her fault and throws in an 'I love you' to soften her up, then they go out to the parking lot and have one of the most awkward screen kisses in movie history. HATED that ending. Ducky was more my type at that age.
