I didn't know that, but I believe you. Literally ALL my favorite bands are, apparently, religious bands... ie. I LOVE superchic(k) and was really big into good charlotte 2. I think this is really funny and ironic because I am not religious. at ALL. I celebrated when I finally got graduated hs and didn't have to get dragged to church every Sun by my parents xD. It's really bad but I'd rather use that time to sleep or have fun b/c im so busy during the wk.

You do not have to listen but maybe they are posting or "preaching" because they feel like God is telling them to. We cannot make you do anything you do not want to do. We cannot make you become a Christian. But we can tell you what God is putting on our heart and then the Holy Spirit can work in your heart. My twin sister and best friend told me this song reminded her of me, and how I always make her feel needed and loved After listening to it I started to cry, because Willow is the only one who makes me feel More Than Useless. I dont know what I would do without her. I love you twin.

I think Relient K must have followed me around writing songs about me. I was a perfectionist for 20 years. It made me depressed and suicidal. I succumbed to self-injurious behavior. Even as a "Christian" who went to church and got straight A's in Bible class. It wasn't until I went to college and had a breakdown that I met the real Jesus, not the fake one my old church paraded around. He changed my life. I still struggle with perfectionism, but I'm no longer a suicidal mess. Thank you, Lord. <3

And because he was made this way make the fact that he would have that many good deeds stack up kind of a given. For this reason it would not be fair for God to expect us to be able to compete with him on any level. Espaically because there just may not be enough opportunities to rack up that many good deeds.

I've loved Relient K for what seems like forever. I usually can't stand christian bands, I find their hamfisted deliverance of their religious message to be near fanatical, and it leaves me with an overall feeling of annoyance and mild aggression. I appreciate Relient K's subtlety. It's like they respect the fact that the people listening to their music may have differing and varied opinions on the subject of religion.

I think this is really funny and ironic because I am not religious. at ALL. I celebrated when I finally got graduated hs and didn't have to get dragged to church every Sun by my parents xD. It's really bad but I'd rather use that time to sleep or have fun b/c im so busy during the wk.

You do not have to listen but maybe they are posting or "preaching" because they feel like God is telling them to. We cannot make you do anything you do not want to do. We cannot make you become a Christian. But we can tell you what God is putting on our heart and then the Holy Spirit can work in your heart. Everyone has their own opinions and religions. No one can make you believe anything, it's all on you. I think Relient K must have followed me around writing songs about me. I was a perfectionist for 20 years. It made me depressed and suicidal. I succumbed to self-injurious behavior. Even as a "Christian" who went to church and got straight A's in Bible class. It wasn't until I went to college and had a breakdown that I met the real Jesus, not the fake one my old church paraded around. He changed my life. I still struggle with perfectionism, but I'm no longer a suicidal mess. Thank you, Lord. <3

@Valmaroni (P1) The problem with that reasoning is that god cannot expect us to be able to compete with Jesus. Jesus was made to be good and obidient. And because he was made this way make the fact that he would have that many good deeds stack up kind of a given. For this reason it would not be fair for God to expect us to be able to compete with him on any level. Espaically because there just may not be enough opportunities to rack up that many good deeds.

He doesnt create robots. Jesus acted loyal to God because he WAS loyal to Him and he knew the depth of the love God had for his people and was trying to show them that. coz we cant compete with Jesus, He gave us a way out. If u give ur life to him, then u become 1 with Him and thus are spotless b4 God

I've loved Relient K for what seems like forever. I usually can't stand christian bands, I find their hamfisted deliverance of their religious message to be near fanatical, and it leaves me with an overall feeling of annoyance and mild aggression. I appreciate Relient K's subtlety. It's like they respect the fact that the people listening to their music may have differing and varied opinions on the subject of religion.
