This song is for my journey since the accident, and since the first diagnosis! It has been the hardest thing ever but I still have hope, and I know god is right beside me.

my mom and i were coming home from the hospital after being told that my dad had been diagnosed with cancer and had a tumor raped around his heart. on the way home we turned on the radio and this song came on. we listened to the words and lost it. it went right with our situtation.. he is now a cancer survivior. god is good<3
I lost my fiance back on Dec 28 2010 to a sudden death of a car accident. It was out of the blue and unexpected. The timing and how everything played out did NOT make any sense at all. There's so much I don't understand, but what I do know is my need for God. I also know God uses these events to show His glory and even His love though we don't see that at the time. His grace is sufficient! Real faith comes in trusting when it's the hardest to do it! He gives us the strength to endure the pain!
For 8 years, I was very, very sick with Graves' Disease and during the last two years of my battle with that horrendous disease, I was blacking out and fainting every single day. For one year, I was completely healthy, and then a little over a year ago, I sustained a very bad concussion and a few months later got a bad viral illness. Now I have a long term neurological disease as a result of the viral illness. The symptoms are just like the Graves' Disease symptoms. This song gives me hope. <3

Gone through so much these past many years and the unimaginable this past year...this is a song that I can so relate with. He talks about "randomness" that things just happen for no good reason, nobody is causing any of this.
Great song. I like the first few lines. It's hard for me personally to come to terms with how God allows people to suffer especially things like sexual abuse and starvation. I want to have faith and I struggle with this.

@fabifly the reason God "allows" these things to happen is because He will not interfere with our free will. People do bad things to each other against His Word and His will. But we have the choice to do those bad things and there are consequences to us and others because of them. He can only tell us the way to behave, we have to choose to obey. Humanity is a sick creature sometimes.

I' ve also been hearing this song on radio station WJ TL in Lancaster, PA. I never knew who sang it, or the name of the song until this week. I just knew that whenever I heard it, I would feel so understood. (My abusive, drug-addicted "Ex," kidnapped my 4 children, 3 times and got away with it,because his family is very wealthy. (I've seen them once in 7 1/2 yrs.) Later, I remarried, and had 3 more children. One was born with Down Syndrome, and my newborn died in a car crash in 2006.
You bet it does! I just saw 3 of my boys this month, (at the oldest ones graduation.) I received a sincere apology from my ex-husband, who told me that whenever I want to see them, just call him. God has done a work on his heart!

when i saw those first pictures it reminded me of that horrible day, i lost my mom in that, me and my dad couldnt take it anymore there the remembrance of every day not seeing those towers, we packed up and moved to get away, i have been mad at god for so long to ask why why me and my family to take away my mom (my best friend) this song was one that helped me, i still dont know why she had to go but im sure god has some kind of a plan for all of that.

Hold on to your hope and let your pain serve others through love. It is like a salve to those who are feeling the burning pangs of death. IF they see that you have made it through, they will know that they can make it too.
I have listened to this song on Sirius Radio numerous times during the past 6 months...after the death of my husband. It has helped me get through the many long hours that I have endured. My husband was given the opportunity to make peace with God before his death. God is so good....ALL THE TIME. This has truly been a blessing. Thank you for following God's direction.
