Matt was a really good singer, Anthrax even tried him. I don't know what happened there. Doc McGee didn't like him for whatever reason. I know Matt was into heaver music than skid row was doing at the time. I was playing the same clubs as Skid Row at the time. Skid Row had big hair and pink guitars. They were glam. Matt wasn't into it. He just kind of stood there and belted it out. They change to leather and jeans once they got signed.

His voice reminds me of something you'll find on an '80s cartoon like the Transformers movie.

Since Scott Ian would end up working with Sebastian on that VH-1 show, it makes me wonder if both of them talked to each other about the fact that their bands once shared the same singer.

Sounds like a decent singer... just an unfortunate resemblance to bon jovi. Skid probably would have faded into obscurity if they hadn't replaced him.
