  • watch the somme memorial flute band from bangor, play at the menin gate, another fine band from ulster

  • Well done on the band playing Glory Glory To The Hibees, fair brought a tear to my een ken like.

  • The UVF fought for us an died for us in the war. Fallen members 36th Ulster R.I.P

  • My Great Grand father fought in the Trenches of the first world war too ..23st bavarian regiment .. God Bless the fallen

  • My advice to you Raysoul45, is to do some research on the UVF Regimental Band before casting such demeaning comments. This band bear the name and the Battle Honours of the 36th Ulster Division, which encompasses the Ulster Volunteer Force and Young Citizen Volunteers circa 1912-1919, during which years, Catholics served in the ranks! As for 'drug-dealing', are you perhaps an envoy for local Ulster gutter-rags who prefer to castigate the UVF to sell copies, or do you have verifiable evidence?

  • I suppose all you people who are against them playing in Belgium have read the history behind the UVF???? Yes thats right they lost a lot of men in 1916 so they have every right to commemorate them anyway they want to

  • suppose they are playing for all the catholics who lost their lives there too.Yes a lot of men from the south died in the fields of ypres

  • The UVF have every right to play in belgium.

  • if you knew anything about history then you would know more uvf men died in belgium than ever did in ulster so please...
