Yes, it uses elastic friction. As long as the surface it clean, it will stick.

wow this stuff is great. i got mine in the mail today (its the mossy oak kind) absoloutly no glue at all! it sticks to the gun perfectly and its very grippy. most importantly, it looks awsome. almost like the barrel and stock got a perfect matte paint job. im buying more off amazon as soon as i get any money.

i thought you need to take a hairdryer to it and then in shrinks the wrap to form the gun. is that true?

you don't need a hairdryer, it sticks to itself and forms to whatever you're wrapping.

you'll love it mate i wrap my .22 when i go bunny shooting, the stuff feels like latex tape, so i use it cause it greatly increases grip on the stock, and also looks badass :)
