Oh god, the shot fake-outs. "Okay...gonna do this..." Totally been there.

When I first started, I was so excited that I would gleefully stab myself in a dart-like fashion with no problem. And then...I started hitting this weird mental wall around six months or so, like I would freak myself out when attempting to use that same "dart method" and just could not do it.

So, for the majority of the last seven years, I've actually inserted the needle slowly. Yep. I glide that sucker in all easy-like.
