Now LBP, is by Media Molecule, which is now a subsidiary of Sony themselves. But I don't think Sackboy counts as the mascot for the whole system.

I'm freaken 23 years old, and I love this game. The map creation is AMAZING, and complicated. I go from playing this game to fallout 3 or MW2, just depends what mood I'm in. Creative mood, or destructive mood lol.

Is this game really worth it? Sackboy is adorable and unbelievably cute, but is there enough gameplay and good multiplayer maps that will keep me playing through the school year? I want a shooter- Killzone 2, Driving-dirt 2 or nfs:shift, adventure: Uncharted 2.

I'll probably try to buy bioshock 2 if the multiplayer is good.

I also was iffy about this game at first. Having borrowed it from a friend a few days ago, I just want to let you know how amazing it is. Unbelievable graphics/gameplay. Online users create their own levels that you can play on and rate/comment. Simply amazing and fun. Game of the year edition releases 9/8 w/ all dlc!! I will be buying it for sure!
