@CartesianTheist Jesus certainly expressed Himself as someone who loves/loved. The love of God is expressed thru all humanity, and certainly existentialists can love. Postmodernists can love. Actually, all God's human creation has the capacity for this love. Now, can all explain where this love is coming from? No. This is where those who have realized this love have the responsibility to share. Looks like ncgstudios is trying to do this. Kudos.
...So the whole community took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, just as the LORD commanded Moses. (Numbers 15:32-36)
Can you prove that God actually said any of this. If so, please feel free to write a bit. For we do love you very much, and we would hope that you would find it nice to be here.
Do you actually think that God said the following: When the Israelites were in the wilderness they found a man gathering wood on the Sabbath day. Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and to the whole community. They put him in custody, because there was no clear instruction about what should be done to him. Then the LORD said to Moses, "The man must surely be put to death; the whole community must stone him with stones outside the camp." continued...
Do you support this bit of Judaism as being God's word: Suppose a man comes across a virgin who is not engaged and overpowers and rapes her and they are discovered. The man who has raped her must pay her father fifty shekels of silver and she must become his wife because he has violated her; he may never divorce her as long as he lives. (Deu 22:28-29 NET)
The majority of what Protestants believe isn't built on Scripture, but the hermeneutical spiral of guys like Luther and Calvin. It's true that all of us have flaws and are saved, but the real question is: how can you hate and kill like Luther and Calvin and interpret the Scripture if John is right....
@CartesianTheist As for your question: simply be patient. We're going to offer a METRIC TON of information over the next few months, and your current question, and many more questions, will be answered. If you listen with love, you'll learn a great deal, and grow far more than you had ever hoped or imagined. Your heart will become soft, your arms will become open, and your eyes will become wet. But if not, then at the very least, you'll certainly find it very useful for your current purpose.
@CartesianTheist The context is listening with love in our hearts, even to our enemies. There's no way to understanding anyone, particularly our enemies, unless we listen with love. Often we find that, if we listen with love, the people who we thought were our enemies, are not our enemies at all. So often, we listen to each other with an agenda instead. This is extremely destructive for both parties, and certainly not the prescription that Jesus gave.
I can certainly relate to this video. seems like when i am telling someone about the love of God, they seem to think that i am speaking another language...it seems foreign to them that God can be so loving! Nice job Mandrake. Looking forward to some more of your life lessons. Great acting to boot, as well as a much needed message.
i dont understand this are they atheists or theists or agnostic it's hard to understand.
