@XplosivCookie Just a theory but I think there may be a spot right in the middle (where every near miss and motorcycle crash happens - in exactly the same spot) where the road either dips or flattens and then goes back to it's normal curve? But people don't notice and it causes them to lose grip.. Just theory. Seen that before on a road in wales (uk).

@N0Sdog No unfortunately it is a great road with some tricky sections (that not being one of them) but it is plagued with horrid drivers, and some decent ones... For instance the girl in the charcoal EVO has literally said "I can't heal/toe unless I am wearing high heals". It’s also in Malibu so there are a lot of rich guys with pay checks that buy cars they can’t handle... Its sad really, the way they put motorcyclists, bicyclists, adn other drivers lives in danger.

That was unexpectedly entertaining. I think it would be even better if someone went out there at night and stuck some of those 3-foot tall flexible fiberglass divider stakes along the middle line leading up to the intersection. Selfish drivers are happy to run someone else off the road if there are no noticeable consequences for the selfish drivers themselves, but put a minor inconvenience in their way and they'll improve their behavior considerably, at least temporarily.
