I was astounded by this film when I borrowed a VHS copy of this from a teacher in high school . . . and the rest is history! (Footnote: when my sister saw the film, she was flooded in tears; no reason why.)

A truly brilliant film! Jodie Foster should have gotten another Oscar for her incredible performance. Natasha Richardson was typically gorgeous in this and i was totally devastated when she died so tragically.

Did´ nt remember it well.... last time i´ve seen was like 20 years ago... now, as a Mother (of a beautiful baby girl) things seem to touch me even more and in a more intense way... Cried since the beginning to the end... Great Film, Great Story, Great Lesson of life... Best Interpretation 0of Jodie Foster EVER! Love IT! :)))
