It's faster than it is in real life because GT5 didn't implement Restrictor plates. If Bill Elliot could go 213 mph in 1987, being able to go 235+ mph in 2010 isn't unrealistic.

@FreddieSuperstar nascars can do 380km/h thats 230mph in the 1960's a dodge charger could do 200 mph so 50 years equals 30 more mph
