LOL @ the art studio which was visible from seemingly every window in the house...
Joseph and Blake could have at least marched across the transverse hallway to the library and pretended they were looking out onto the grounds. That window Blake peers out of is OBVIOUSLY facing the center courtyard at the FRONT of the house. LOL
I wanted to end the upcoming "Early Years" with the trial. And I wanted this series to begin with Alexis' moving into the studio (another crucial point in the show) and focus on the mansion and the rivalry between the two ladies. And I thought the scene with Joseph was perfect to begin that.
Great idea, great idea... Thanks! LOL, that question was from me. My little brother is visiting and I mistakenly posted that question^ under his account.. LOL I told that little bugger to log onto Windows using the guest account!
Little HipHopGuardian bugger... :) Speaking of "Early Years" I hope you won't hate what I did to season 1. I cut out or shortened many scenes focusing on the mansion and the relationships, plus added some background music and establishing shots. It's not the season 1 you know. I ruined it. LOL... :)
:) One shall not take the wrath of Gatsbyesque lightly... Actually, I love the scenes from the Blaisdell marriage. That's good stuff. But, I'm sorry. Some of the oil rig stuff just had to go. As much as I want Walter to be my fourth grandpa (Blake being the third), some of those scenes were just too long... I'd have to spend over 50% of a segment on a single scene. At the oil rig. Now, we can't do that in 2009, can we? :)
I'm sure we'll see that in "The Early Years" series that LB is preparing. I hated Joseph to the core when he would stand there and condescend Krystle, so sure that his position was more secure than hers. And then after his death, the writers carried on as though they had been great friends... as though he didn't almost take her life in that cabin as well!
God, what a wonderful season--with the exception of that dreadful Dr. Toscani. Alexis had chemistry with everyone--Sammy Jo, Krystle, Blake, Fallon, Joseph, and Steven. The show would never be the same.
Loves the JAWS music when Alexis is walking towards the house at 6.06 :D

First beautiful and sexy Krystle scene.

I think Alexis was far more believable in the early days. "Could you rustle up a woman to boil water?" love that line.

Alexis was so much more naturally beautiful in her first 3 seasons. Later she went over the top. But what the hay it was Dynasty!

LB: Awesome work
-- I loved this time when Alexis could go from a wig to her own hair without missing a beat :)

It just occurred to me, to ask... LB, why didn't this series begin with the trial?

*pouts* Fiiiine. Well, I hope we will get to see Grandpa Walter's little anecdotes here and there.

I don't know about that, but you'll definitely see him under Carrington Loyal & Angry Security Dog Squad attack. ...lol...

I would love to see the early scene between Joseph and Krystle when she threatens to fire him for being "rude and insubordinate"

Krystle always looks sexy and beautiful wearing nightgown with robes.
Love Krystle more than Alexis - Good decision.

Does Blake EVER age? He looks the same here as in Kissing Cousins!
And what a nice break with this series... no ADAM, JEFF (hopefully), DEX...and the REAL Fallon and Steven! Having Krystal back is a bonus, too.
And...
- "impotent voyeur"! ZING!
- Nice Jerry Goldsmith scary music as Alexis stomps across the lawn
- Kippers? Pass the barf bag...
- Alexis pronounces "sherbet" CORRECTLY! Will the rest of the world follow suit?
- Alexis channels Jacqueline Susann! HOT! 7:03
