OMG! why slit its throat?!?! thats horrible! its litterally drowning in its own blood while you LAUGH and film it! lol. w/e but i think next time you should kill it MUCH quicker, like chopping its head off? or like slamming its head on a rock. just a suggestion.
no offense to all you city slickers: hanging throat-slit chickens is the universal method of slaughtering chickens for preserving and cooking. The purpose is to let all the blood drain fully from the carcass to prolong shelf life of the meat, and to guard against types of food poisoning bacteria.
The reason the chicken is not killed first is so the muscular actions of wing-flapping and other movements pumps blood out of the carcass.
Get over it, city/suburban wimps. Go vegan if it bothers you.
I am a vegetarian for the very reason that I could not kill an animal, but I do not "curse" anybody else for doing so! But what I would very much like to ask for anybody who does kill to eat meat is,that people have respect for the animal and also try to make ti as quick and painless as possible, having watched this film I can simply assume that they used a knife that was not very sharp and this is something that I feel should trully be done, no creature should suffer unnecessarily
