I think it's better to cut the apples in wedges then dip them in and use toothpicks. Makes it easier to eat. Also a nice topping like crushed peanuts tastes great with it.

@absolutsal it's just the way I talk. "Stupidly Simple" - to say that it's not just simple, it's REALLY simple. As for how I cut the apple stem, just close your eyes when that part comes up next time :)

@bigman88zz it helps to have super gooey caramel, so make sure the caramel is hot enough. Also, the apple has to be dry.
