yea warped tour was definitely in like July and August of 1997 and I think they still do it in July and August. Yeah this was definitely Caffeine Nation Tour 1997 not Warped Tour. The tour started May 6th 1997 and this show was May 13th so yea def Caffeine Nation Tour

you sure this wasn't Caffeine Nation Tour? Because I remember seeing Descendents around that time in 1997 at The Roseland Ballroom in NYC with Guttermouth and Less Than Jake and another band I don't remember. I'm pretty sure it was May 1997 and it wasn't Warped Tour. Warped Tour is usually a summer tour in like July and/or August. This might be Caffeine Nation Tour 1997

if the date on this is correct, this was still the caffeine nation tour, not the warped tour. The warped tour 1997 did not start until july.

Flyswatter I like the fact that you like this music but remember pretty much all of the Descendents was pre pre pre warped tour. Treat it as I do with Iggy and the Stooges. I really like the music but it's not really mine. It's more of a classic to be enjoyed.

As Mike Ness told me when I interviewed him that summer (Social D. was the Warped Tour headliner in '97), "Punk rock is an indoor, night-time activity. Give me a smoke-filled club any day."
