first download ur song.. then drag it to make a folder... go to all programs... click stepmania then click open stepmania program folder.. go to songs.. then!!! u HAVE to click compatibility files!!.. drag your song to the songs folder on comp files... then find ur song in the list and drag it to any group and it will be entered... ill make a video of it later on.

I don't know if this has been posted or not, but for some downloaded stepmania, you have to go to "open stepmania program files" then to songs, just a lil' advice since it's confusing for people who just downloaded the game *had to help friends* :)

It still doesn´t work for me. I have added hundreds of new songs, but with the help of somekind of software that automaticly extratcs songs to stepmania. However now that I have just the songs, Stepmania does not recognize them.

This means that you have a music outside of a song folder.

All song folders must reside in a group folder. For example, 'Songs/DDR 4th Mix/B4U'.

LoL basically the folders inside the song folder are playlist so dance mix 1 and dance mix 2 are seperate playlist or its optional to take out the songs inside dm1 and dm2 and put the in the same folder just to have 1 playlist instead of 2 :D

You see, thats not gonna work because the song itself doesnt have any arrows to it. You have to go look at another tutorial for creating your own songs if u want to do that.

It didn't work for me. :( I might've made a mistake though. I put the song in the songs file and then I pressed the "play stepMania and it said An Error has occured The folder 'Songs/Elfen Lied - Lilium (Full Version)' contains music files.
