Batman was played by Christian Bale, who is also British. Just because Henry Cavill is British doesn't mean Superman will be. He'll be raised in Kansas by the Kents like all of his counterparts. And they don't use the "Truth, Justice and the American Way" tagline anymore. They want Superman to be about the world, not just America. Also, if you want to see a British Superman, read Superman: True Brit.

For those who didn't know, Henry Cavill was one of the original candidates for the Superman role in "Superman Returns". Brandon Routh won the vote to play Superman in the movie though. It is so great to know that Henry got a second chance to play the role. Not to mention, how awesome this movie is going to be!!!

Christopher Reeve did a fine job. Brandon Routh, 50/50, but he wasn't to blame. The story of Superman Returns was just shoddy. I like that Henry Cavill is playing Superman. Finally, someone that can really become this character. It was a nice surprise when I saw that he was cast.
