  • for the whole video you didnt blink 0.0

  • my boyfriend showed this trick to me when we're still not in relationship... and i answered it right after about 9 days... this trick is the reason why we become boyfriends... haha...

    3,8,7,A,Q,6,4,2,J,K,10,9,5

he even gave it a story so it'll be easy to remember.

"in the year [387] there was [A] [QUEEN] at the age of [64] who had [2] sons named [JACK] and [KING], their kingdom died in the year [1095]"

  • I always hated math..If I had you as a teacher math would be fun..

  • I just reversed time to get the right order. Do you have some sort of mathematical solution to the puzzle?

  • The correct sequence is (from top card face down) 3, 8, 7, A, Q, 6, 4, 2, J, K, 10, 9, 5 as long as you spell all of them correctly.

  • u look kinda cute in this one!

  • You can apply a few brain cells to get the order (By Programming)

Or, you can do it yourself by recursively correcting the order.

  • Man I got really excited for a moment, I blame lack of sleep from watching all these awesome vids, I thought he was going to pull a suit out if the cards, if you ever figure that one out I suggest a zoot suit

  • 3 C,8 C,7 C,A C,QUEEN C,6 C,4 C,2 C,JACK C,KING C,10 C,5 C

    FOR UNDER 1 MIN xD

  • This trick works in any order because of clock numerology.

  • 3 8 7 A Q 6 4 2 J K 10 9 5

  • I got 3 5 8 A 7 Q 4 2 6 J K 10 9

  • If u do it in reverse, you will have the correct order :P

  • i know it is late comment but still solving this puzzle kinda easy is going reverse correct me if im wrong

  • a suit out a pack of cards???????????

  • Are you very small or are your cards very big? XD

  • 3 8 7 A Q 6 4 2 J K 10 9 5

  • 3 8 7 A Q 6 4 2 J K 10 9 5

  • the order of the cards were

    3,8,7,ace,jack,6,4,2,king,10,9,queen,5.

  • @ThePlopl this order is wrong, the order is

    3, 8, 7, ace, queen, 6, 4, 2, jack, king, 10, 9, 5

  • I think you came to my school and you were talking about code machine things in world war 2. or maybe you just look the same as the man who came to my school :P

  • @maxina98 That was me.

  • @singingbanana omg what a coincident :L i like you lazer pen 8)

  • @singingbanana dude i wana meet ya :P

  • @maxina98 lucky :( the best my school can do for a presentation is an ex drug addict

  • @Dooooooooooooom7 hahahaa, unlucky :)

  • I too did a whole deck, but a little different. I include the word 'of' in each card, the suit order is spades to hearts to diamonds to clubs, and from ace to king. So start at Ace of Spades to Two of Spades...to King of Spades to Ace of Hearts and so on.

    The deck came out as:

    6C, 2C, AD, 8S, QH, QC, AC, 2H, 10H, 6D, 5H, AS, 5S, QS, 3C, 3D, 9C, JD, 9S, QD, 8H, 10D, KD, 2S, 4C, 6S, 5D, 3H, KH, KS, 6H, KC, 10S, JH, 2D, 9D, JC, 3S, 5C, 10C, 7S, 9H, 8D, 7C, AH, 4H, 4D, JS, 8C, 7D, 4S, 7H

  • I got 3 8 7 A Q 6 4 2 J K 10 9 5

  • im going to try it ;)

  • From the top to the bottom of the deck, where the cards are facedown it would be in the order when drawn: 3, 8, 7, A, Q, 6, 4, 2, J, K, 10, 9, 5.

I deduced the order through counting the total number of letters, which is 47 and subtracted 1 from each card removed beginning from 13. Through testing, I have proven that, that is indeed the correct order of cards.

    Fun puzzle :]

    Cheers.

  • Respond to me if im right Banana, but are you spelling out the number of the card?

  • testalways(dot)com/2010/07/05/find-bugs-and-patterns/

  • The original order was 3,8,7,A,Q,6,4,2,J,K,10,9, and 5. I got the solution by puting the cards down in a circle in a random order. I spelled from the top card A-c-e and on the next card I switched it with the Ace and flipped the Ace over. I would then spell out the next card and then repeat until I got the order of the cards.

  • S-P-A-D-E-S-A-C-E

  • when i was a kid, a long time ago lol. i used to do this as a "magic" trick along with this story

in the year 3 8 7 there 1 Queen who was 6 4 she had 2 sons one was a Jack and one was King , the jack was 10 and the king was fourteen (9 + 5)

i would then say how the queen taught me a unique way to spell and count and bet some random drunk in a pub that i could not only spell all the cards but turn over the correct card for each spelling without looking - and win a coke haha

  • Those cards look bigger then regulars...

  • @98LetsWatch He's just a tiny man ;)

  • @DerEngelDesTodes hmm and I thought... Well thanks I guess.. lol

  • can i win some thing if i do so??

  • 3 8 7 A Q 6 4 2 J K 10 9 5

  • 3 8 7 A Q 6 4 2 J K 10 9 5

  • u look like a doll..lol

  • I did it for the whole deck: ♥J♠J♦6♣5♥8♠5♥3♣7♥2♠A♠10♥7♦K♥4♣8♣10♥9♣6♠6♥A♠K♥5♦2♦J♦3♣J♥Q♣9♦10♦4♠8♦A♣2♣K♦Q♥6♦7♣3♦8♠7♣A♦5♠9♣4♥10♠3♠Q♣Q♥K♦9♠2♠4

This only works if you do the suit too though, and if you go from spades to hearts to diamonds to clubs, and A2345678910JQK. So it would start out Ace of spades (S-P-A-D-E-S-A-C-E) then go to Ace of hearts (H-E-A-R-T-S-A-C-E) and so on. :-)

  • Nice one.

  • 3 8 7 a q 6 4 2 j k 10 9 5

  • From me to you: 3 8 7 A Q 6 4 2 J K 10 9 5

  • the order was 3 8 7 ace queen 6 4 2 jack king 10 nine five

  • Here is an easy way to remember the order

In 387A a Queen who was g4 had 2 chidren.

She named one Jack and named one King. One was 10 and one was nine.

They were both in the 5th Grade

  • this only seems difficult..it isnt...

    the order is 3 8 7 A Q 6 4 2 J K 10 9 5...

  • [Facing you] 5 9 10 K J 2 4 6 Q A 7 8 3 [Facing Camera]

    [Order from top] 3 8 7 Ace Queen 6 4 2 J K 10 9 5

    That was fun ^_^

  • 3, 8, 7, A, Q, 6, 4, 2, J, K, 10, 9, 5.

  • 3 8 7 A Q 6 4 2 J K 10 9 5

  • This better not ever show up on a test >.>

  • haha

  • those are you big cards

  • 3, 8, 7, Ace, Queen, 6, 4, 2, Jack, King, 10, 9, 5. I did it by writing a number on the front of every card 1 -13. The order was 4, so the ace is fourth, 8, so the 2 was eighth, 1, so the 3 was first, etc.

  • yep, 3 8 7 A Q 6 4 2 J K 10 9 5

I did it on a sheet of paper, drew out 13 blanks, and started spelling starting from ACE- then I wrote A in the 4th position and marked the position to indicate that the card was taken out. Then I did the same for the rest (spelling and marking), making sure not to count the marked slots (the places where the card was already taken out)

  • Your method isn't exactly what I did. When I spell Ace the *next* card was the Ace, in other words the fourth card. You've made Ace the third card. Same idea, just slightly different.

  • yours is right but littlefelo85 also got it right your idea is that the e in ace is the card you pick up littlefelo85 picks up the one after it

  • oh i forgot...instead of starting with 13 cards...just start with one(the king)...

  • I have an idea.....

first, the king should be on top, next, put the queen on top and spell it but now instead of putting the top card at the bottom, put the bottom card on top..

then you place the jack and spell it and while you're spelling it put the bottom card on top each letter and the pattern just repeats......

It's just my opinion so I don't know if I'm right... just tell me if I'm wrong..hehe

  • That's how i did it

  • I got it! It took forever. You have to work it out backwards. It's 3, 8 ,7, ace, queen, 6, 4, 2, jack, king, 10 , 9, 5.

  • dude i have no idea how to do that, your cool:)

  • TRUE! :O :D

  • my uncle told me a story for this haha. it went something like:

387 years Ago (ace) there lived a Queen. She was 64 years old and had 2 sons named Jack and King. jack was 10 and king was 14(9+5).

    Et Voila! =]

  • do it backwards and you will figure it out.

  • i dont wanna waste my time on that :P

  • why your not gonna die in a couple of days...but ya im not going to either theres a solution anyways lol

  • yeah my uncle used to do it with the whold deck!

  • eheh, now do it in latin.. lol

  • Yay, 3-8-7-A-Q-6-4-2-J-K-10-9-5

Took me like 7 min to figure it out :P

  • duh! its kqj1098765432a

  • what is the point - -

  • 3 8 7 A Q 6 4 2 J K 10 9 5

  • close but no i tried.

  • I just did it, and I got it perfectly.

Ace, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten, Jack, Queen, King

  • Jim help me.....I'm 15 and i suck at maths.!! There's gonna be a huge test coming!! And i don't know what to do to improve my mathematics!!!!!!!!

  • With what subject do you need help?

  • The easiest way to solve the order is to start with the K and add the Queen and just spell back wards, neeuq and then you add the jack, and spell kcaj, and so on allthe way to the ace.. and it shoud be in the correct order, and then you can turn it into any language, I cahnged it into danish cuz I'm Danish my self, so that would be smartest for me.. but nice vid mate.. :D

  • There's no need to spell the words backwards. Jack has 4 letters and if you spell it kcaj, it still has 4 letters.

  • Lolwat?

    Why spell it backwards?

It's not like the number of letters changes depending on the order you spell them.

  • Well it's just so ppl understand the method better. xD

  • I might subscribe.

  • Dude i just fell asleep watching this... not because its boring but because my brain is so tired after 20 seconds of your math

  • i dun get it

  • 5 9 10 K J 2 4 6 Q A 7 8 3

    :D

  • nop.

  • The order is 3 8 7 A Q 6 4 2 J K 10 9 5, the way i did it is i started of by putting down the cards and their podition in the pack and went through the process of spelling them out fixing the order and then reapeating thanks for the challenge

  • 5 9 10 K J 2 4 6 Q A 7 8 3

the 5 is the face card and 3 is the back card

because he is putting the back card into the

    face card

how did I solved? I put all the 13 cards in the table face up in circle then I spell the card like ace, and then I eliminate the ace by making it facedown and until the king is left face up :-)

  • then the solution is

    y= M + abc (n)

where M is the first whole number which satisfy all three equations.

QUestion is how to find M

  • Hi singing banana,

i need to ask a question that was raised by DoubleDeeYou on his " Impossible Maths Puzzle" video. Basically, the problem itself is solved, but the underlying problem is fascinating.

If we are presented with a series of equation such that

    y= n (a) + c1

    y= n(b) + c2

    y= n (c) + c3

    where n is whole number and a variable, a, b, c and c1, c2, c3 are fixed and whole numbers, a, b, and c are also primes

then the solution to the set of equations is

  • nice trick, it works in all languages, and to set up the cards you can just do that but in reverse order, example: you take the 8 put it on top and you take cards from the bottom and put them on top and spell E-I-G-H-T , and then put another card on top and spell it, plain simple and too easy

  • welcome back :D

  • Nice. To find the right order, you just have to do the sequence in reverse:

start with a king, add the queen, spell QUEEN, add the jack, spell it...

    Nice trick, though.

  • amazing trick / puzzel and i have no idea of the starting order would take me forever to find it out hope you post the solution ^.^

  • nice dude

  • pretty easy but an awesome trick never the less!

  • 3 8 7 A Q 6 4 2 J K 10 9 5

  • 387A Q 642J K 10 9 5

yep that wat i got too
