So let me get this straight... the closest we've EVER come to contacting life outside our own planet, and we SHOOT ROCKETS AT IT???? I don't see the logic behind this.

... Columbus saw birds flying outside their normal range and this is considered worthy of mention in a UFO documentary? I don't care how far a bird is from home, if you can tell it's a bird, then it's not an UNIDENTIFIED flying object!
No doubt did Columbus witness UFO's. I think until this very day, you can witness UFO sightings out in the deep waters of the world. Stay out there long enough, you will see one clear as day. The experience may or may not be as enjoyable as you thought it would. You could get abducted. Anything thing could happen. I would like to see a UFO for myself one day.
@Hollywood1127, best time is after 12 midnight and between 3am. That's when I've seen many of them. You have to have a clear sky of course and being in a hot spot it better. you need to know how to distinguish them from aircraft which have blinking lights and the color is different. If you watch long enough you will see one. I have seen many and even had close encounters with them.
I've never had any encounters... then again I've lived in the city all my life. It's so polluted out here that the night sky is literally covered in smog and no stars are visible. When I say "no stars", I mean NO STARS. Shame... since there's so much mystery up there.
