I enjoy every song on Illud, with equal attraction to the individual expression and find the diversity appealing rather than static or one dimensional.
To me, it is a fitting continuation of the ongoing artistic exploration within an extreme metal framework, & I for one Am glad to see Morbid Angel Slouch Slowly towards the Arena Rock that I Am Morbid and Radikult personify, a forward momentum, 110% true to the merit of thinking for oneself and daring to go wherever the spirit leads courageously.
Hell yeah, I love Jacksons. What year is that guitar? Terrence from Suffocation told me that his favorite Warlock and the Iron Birds you and Erik play are all from the same year.
@supermorbid66602 Some of the industrial/techno stuff was a big disappointment, but the death metal tracks are still awesome. It still has great stuff on it. Just nowhere near as good as the early albums in my opinion, and well, just about everyone's opinion. By the way, this account (XxAstroX) is Trey's youtube account, in case you were wondering.
@supermorbid66602 Thats a question for David. They have played "Bil Ur Sag" live with David. Thats the only Tucker era song they have played with him. David sings it differently than it was recorded. My guess is, it was originally written when Dave was still in the band & thats why he is willing to play it. I dont know though. This video is on Trey's youtube account, so I suppose you can ask him, but I dont think he signs in very much
@joxomoxo Existo, Nevermore, Blades, 10 more dead & Beast are all pretty damn good in my opinion. The rest of the album is a big let down. Not only for the fans, but also for them as a band. They pissed on the band's legacy. Radikult? Give me a fucking break. Sounds like a Genitorturers/Marylin Manson hybrid. Fucking gay and weak! Not at all what Morbid Angel was ever about. Rehashing crap industrial from the late 90's is not expanding boundaries at all.
trey you are the best you can make morbid come back
