John's smart, isn't he. :) Frustrating as this baby storyline can get, with its pointless and unfathomable rewrites, it certainly beats all that nonsense in the Kristen's Baby storyline, when poor John came across as a total dork.
Oh, and I hated how they dumbed him down in the Kristen storyline, but I chose to believe it's just because he did love her, but felt guilt over loving Marlena more, so he was blind because he was trying so hard to move on from Marlena.
She was nice when he found her. She had a different head then, admittedly, but she was nice. She, Abe and John had quite a good threesome going for a while. In a manner of speaking.
