This is one of the best voices/recordings I do agree! it is a tad slow. Love it when a tenor can hit the low notes as well with sustainable power. Great strong mid range.

Wow!!! I've listened 2 pretty much every1 who sings this aria & I must say THIS is my favorite of all=) Usually, Melchior & Lorenz own this. But, Suthaus here has the perfect tempo, delicious diction(U really understand everything he sings), his fluidity of line, the mass size of his voice is just right(not 2 big, not 2 small)& he sounds human unlike the others who sound like machines(trying 2 hard 2 sound heroic!)Bravo Suthaus=)
