  • A Mislabeled CD would eventually gave this song a decenet amount of spins on hertiage Top 40 station WNCI in Columbus, Ohio.

The CD was suppose to have the song Back 2 Life by Soul II Soul. WNCI was not found of playing it and a record exuctive pushed them to give the song a chance. They did but it was David & the Giants instead.

  • thanks and keep up the good work.

  • I get teared up listening to this song. Reminds me of the days when my father was in my life and was a Christian. We fell out for a while but last year he returned home in the House of God. I was 7 the last time I seen him as a Christian man. Now I'm 27. I fail to uphold my teachings sometimes but we are all humans and only through Christ can we make ourselves complete.

  • Who ever is uploading this music I say thank's and I am glad that can hear what I used to listening back in the 80's when I started to play and get involved in Praising music,

  • Chazrjr- Glad you recognize good music. Now about the rest of your statement-we don't give a damn what you think.

  • THANK YOU for uploading this video! I have been searching for this song for a long time. I first heard it sung in the church where I was saved in 1993. Since I was a new Christian, I was deeply touched by the lyrics. I'm sure it had been more than ten years since I heard this song sung or played -- until I found this video. The melody and lyrics never get old!

  • I heard this song several times on a big secular station in Chicago. Surprised it didn't become a bigger hit.

  • Great song. Played at my wedding!

  • remember you are not your own. The young people of this generation, full of the holy spirit can do great things for God. Give him your heart. Change the world.

  • Thank you what a great song..A blessing

    Praise you Lord!

  • One of my all time favorite!!!!

  • I just saw Clayborn Huff today, I went down to see him at Christian Life. He still plays bass there, and I got to talk to him again.

  • Hey, Peanutboy, that's neat. What a blessing for you and Clay that you got to meet again, that's awesome!!!!

  • I remember hearing this song on top 40 secular radio when it first came out. It was accidentally sent out to ALL stations without a label in a Virgin Record shipment. The deejays were asking anyone who had a clue what the song was and who the artist was , to call. They played the song over and over - everyone loved it. God works in mysterious ways!! I was talking about this incident awhile back with David's daughter Kellye on myspace. This is one of my favorite songs.

  • I remember hearing this on the radio too. I worked at a small station in Upstate New York and noticed stations in several markets reported playing it yet it could not chart due to the lack of a commercially available single. With the proper label push, this could have been HUGE on secular radio. It had broad appeal and generated lots of buzz. So glad to hear it again here after a 20-year wait. It always stuck in the back of my mind.

  • My uncle, Lloyd Bustard, wrote this song with David Huff. What a great video with the song!

  • Your uncle has been blessed with a beautiful talent.

  • Amazing music by David and the Giants... Great videos!!! I love it... What a timeless sound. God bless you.

  • Thank you, jcwnfnn.

  • i've accucaly met them, i went to see them live and not many were there, so after the show i had them all autograph a couple of their vinal i own...they're all really nice guys, expecialy david i stood and talked to him for several hours and he really encouraged me to chase my dream of a musical carear.

  • All I ever hear about these people is very good. Especially David and it is good that he encouraged you to chase your dream...did you?

  • i am. im currently getting married in 2 months and im putting myself through school by working at wal*mart (school im majoring in buisness, and music theroy) i hope to open my own recording studio someday and also set in myself as a studio artist. i've played drums/percussion for 10 years, lead/accoustic for about 3, bass about 5 and recently picked up keys...but my dream isnt here yet...im still WORKING for it, God blessed me with these talents and im now going to ust them to give back to him.

  • That is really neat to know. Isn't it amazing what a little encouragement at the right time from various people throughout your youth can do for you? I love hearing these things. Peace to you and yours, ID.

  • I want to chase my dreams...I want to become a proffessional writer some day...I am trying my best to churn out page after page, but I never know whats going to happen. I think it is the way David Huff has an effect on you.

  • I write novels, short stories and poetry. I have only ever been published by someone officially on the net. A friend in Colorado really liked one of my poems and made a webpage on his site for it. Other than that I have never been published, but I write because I really enjoy it. So I encourage you to keep going with the talents that God has blessed you with. He doesn't give us our talents so that we can simply sit on them. You'll do well, peanutboy :)

  • Hello Fans, what nice pictorials and video to go alone with some of the best Christian music -- this band still holds my top favorite spot of all times and David is amongst the best solo artists today. If you would like to be kept up on the happenings of David's new Solo CD and the new David & the Giants Reunion DVD from Dec.2008, both available later this year at the GiantWorld website and sign up as a member.

  • my cousins... Divid & his twin bros... wish they would put more of his songs to video... missing seeing them.

  • I have made six or seven videos to six or seven of their songs. Maybe they never made too many videos because it is such an expensive undertaking and time consuming. But let me loose with a camera for a few days, I have some other excellent ideas for their songs. And to boot, I'd do it for nothing...just for love of the music and the message the songs contain.

  • You know the people that made these songs?

  • I ment off.

  • Two David and the Giants video have been takeing of YouTube. I wonder why?

  • Which ones were taken down?

  • I personally know David Huff-been to his studio in Miss. a few times with some friends-whom which recorded a couple of CD's there-his mixing board is one of 6 in the world-in fact,he beat out Billy Joel in the bid for it-(true story here)

  • The closest I have ever come to Billy Joel was when he had the tune muted on one of my vids. If I ever get closer to him I will have to sock him on the nose! No, seriously, it was Billy's right to mute the song if he wanted. But still, the vid was fab and it was very disappointing to have to take it down.

  • I personally know David Huff-have been to his recording studio in Miss.a few times. Some friends of mine recorded two CD's there,-a trivia story-his mixing board is one of 6 like it in the world-he beat out Billy Joel on the bid to have it-he's still doing great work-and a really great guy at that...

  • Thank God for U Tube. I have not heard this song in years and it bring back so many good memories and when I want to just listen to good praise and worship music, I now can come the this site. Thank you for the post.

  • You are so welcomed, Psalm. I have posted more David and the Giant tunes a=since this one and are in the process of making many more. Hope you enjoy hearing them all.

There is a MyStore for MP3 downloads on David's website and MySpace page. All the music will soon be on Amazon and iTunes. Signup for David's newsletter at the GiantWorld website to keep up will have the breaking news...Enjoy!

  • I cant tell you how much i have enjoyed finding these songs the last time i seen David perform was in Jonesboro, Arkansas somewhere around 1979 or 80 wow where did the years go

  • David and the Giants have been the greatest group of talented godly musicians i have ever seen, the tell us of Gods love not of the "religious people" that have turned some many souls away from eternity. i have been a fan since the late 70's.

  • I would LOVE to see a video made for Show Them the Light and They'll Find Their Own Way.

  • I have worked with many Christian music groups hosting concerts for youth over the decades. I never met a more truly godly, humble, Christ filled group than David and the Giants. I will always remember the gracious, humble way that David Huff and his band asked for help as we were assisting with equipment set up. "Brother, could you please bring that cord over here," they would say with such gentle grace. It was a joy and a pleasure to help them.

  • I wish I had had occasion in my life to meet those types of Christian people. I always seem to run into the prickly ones for whom the real me is never good enough. I can't believe I am being so frank and under my own name! This song soothes my soul when all else fails...and all else usually always fails.

  • I wish David Huff would post some videos. Been a fan for years.

  • Great video. David Huff is a personal friend of mine and will be ministering at the church I pastor on the 17th of Feb. He is a very humble man and a great musician.

  • Can you please tell him that I made this video? I would love for him to see it. I am in New Zealand and so have never actually had the opportunity to see them play or hear him speaking. Thank you.

  • I did show David the video and he loved it. He would like to contact you so if you can send me your contact info I will forward it to him. By the way he rocked the house on Sunday and six people, 2 visiting teenagers accepted Christ as Savior. It was a great day! David actually played Here's My Heart during the altar time Sun. morning.

  • Hi, I did send you a message in YouTube here, but seems YouTube is playing up and it did not show whether my message had been sent or not. Please let me know if you got it.

  • Wow, are the snowy scenes from New Zealand? What a lovely place and a sweet little girl, Sarah. Thanks for this.

  • I love taking pictures of the back roads like the one's in this video and taking pictures of railroad tracks.well, when I was taking up Black/white photography in college.

very well done Sarah!! 5 stars*****

  • Funny thing is that black and white photography is a hobby of mine still, I just don;t get much time to indulge in it. With the digital age, true B&W photography is almost defunct, which is sad.
