i think the greatest guitarists get to a point where they can only be put into somekind of top 10 list on an indivudules personal taste, i bet there are some genius unknowns out there also,

Joe Satriani is better than Steve Vai. It's all a matter of personal opinion though. Tommy rules! I love this song!

There is no better or worse dude these guys are all artists not athletics. They are all great in their own styles
