this was a wonderful movie with brilliant performances and a great story. they showed us how he became the legend, his fears, his loves, his dreams...

and Jonny was Elvis for those two hours. he had the looks and the moves of the King. even his sex-appeal.

however, what bothers me about this movie is that they didn't let him sing. he has a great voice. he's not Elvis, but Joaquin P. was not Cash either and the movie was still a success.

and Priscilla was extremely beautiful, unlike this actress

This movie was shown in HD on TV in 2005, and has been out on DVD and HD or BlueRay for a long time. I thought JRM did a good job as Elvis in the first half more than the second half. That is probably because he did NOT study Elvis at all for the role because he was doing another movie, but only had time to view one video of the young Elvis. It is clear from interviews JRM knows nothing about Elvis even thinking he lived at home a long time when it was Elvis's parents that live with him!

it was the second role I saw JRM in, it was a great movie overall (the first part - chronicling elvis' earlier years was better than the 2nd) and he did a fantastic job. The accent was very good, and he looks remarkably like Elvis.
