Blizzard made great job in the classic, quests, sideline story, amazing (true) legendary items, that had a lore and hardcore work to get it.

In classic I felt like each item was a accomplish, and my first legendary (Sulfuras) was like OMG, not just to me, but to everyone who saw it.

Now an epic is nothing more than a regular item and a legendary is just a cool useless weapon...

They killed the game by leaving it all to very casual.

@mdrakemic I don't get why the fuck do people even say wow's casual, truthfully, the "grade" became epic for all, but getting top items is not for all, most people never finished ICC when it had the buff. Plus the whole point of wow now is that we aren't the useless 40 manners from before, but champions and soon to be heroes. it's important that champions and heroes use epic quality items JUST for lore wise. Also legendary were not useless, not many people had them on Wrath, much less on BC.

They could make a way (hard way) to upgrade the legendaries.

Also the WoW was great for not being just an non stop kill like Korean games, but to making lore for each item, Legendary means the lore is great for it, and the way to get is harder (almost impossible).

Epic means you did great effort to handle it.

But if all items are for everyone, its all common with purple name...

The quotes aren't from any event in WoW, it's a proc that happens while you have the Ashbringer equipped. Even Wowwiki confirms the quote as "Made... to serve."

ArantirFo1, You are right. Renault Mograine, Alexandros Mograine's son killed his father (Alexandros) because he was posessed by the Ashbringer, wich was corrupted. The voice inside the swords is indeed Alexandros Mograine's voice.

correction to that, actually ashbringer wasn't corrupted until Renault betrayed Alexandros. Ashbringer stayed with Alexandros when he became a deathknight, up until Darion killed him and took it and then killed himself with the sword in an effort to free his father's soul, becoming a deathknight himself. as for the sword itself, it's not a rune blade, but was forged from a crystal that the orc warlocks brought from Draenor, one tht was purely evil until the knights of the silver hand tried to

dude there is script just turn on your sound and write:

/script PlaySoundFile("Sound\\Creature­\\Ashbringer\\ASH_SPEAK_01.wav­")

just replace the part: "SPEAK_01" with the diferent numbers from 01 to 12 for the different whispers and you will hear it in game... one advice: make macros for all the whispers so you dont have to write each time... enjoy :)
