  • The Clash wannabee's

  • @myancov

Sound nothing like The Clash and Stiv Bators was awake to what is really going on, The Clash wernt

  • Awesome track from the early 1980s!!

  • Replay Replay Replay Replay Replay Replay Replay Replay

  • Brings back 1983 listening to this song.

  • Best song ever from this band when they first came on the scene in the early 80`s! English Punk with a slightly Metal attitude! Then they got more Goth with a changed line-up later through the years. They should have stuck with the original formula-The Ramones really pissed off on Cocaine!

  • @954cudaman I thought they were from the states?

  • @menencho5718 Actually we`re both correct. The band originally formed in 1981 with American & British founding members.

  • The great Master Bators.

  • biff stivers....violent only to his self!

  • .

    STAND ALONE together.

    .

    .O.

  • RIP, Stiv you were an original

  • Rise against your Vevo masters!

  • Awwwww yeeaaaahhhhh!

  • "The video games train the kids for war." This song is prescient - it's scary. "You only know what they want you to know."

  • Clasic song. I'm surprised more bands don't choose to cover this song!

  • Their first & best album from the early 80`s before they changed & went morbidly dark.

  • He's right about one thing: Ignorance is used as a tool.. There are many rich people who started poor and give their money to good causes, and just because you're poor doesn't mean you're an innocent little martyr either. Open your eyes is right.

  • This song sounds a lot like "Light My Fire!"

  • OPEN YOUR EYES

    at PATENT 6630507

  • Bass sax and exploding TV yes!

  • my history teacher recommended me this song... he even gave an essay about it

  • VEVO suckssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Brings back so many good memories!

  • Come on, I fell love with Stiv in 1981. This song still rocks !

  • Killed by the French....

  • Stiv had his best days with RFTT and Dead Boy's.I was very young when Lords came out but I already knew about RFTT ETC. Ain't It Fun was a regular part of the Party when I was thirteen and getting stoned. Sooooooo many people didn't know about Stiv, I opened their eyes though. This saxaphone shit has got to go though. I am certain that Stiv didn't approve of the FUCKING saxaphone.FUCK the saxaphone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ghostscantkill I'm not so sure it's the sax that stinks as bad as that garage band bass part at 2:19 that sounds like a teenage girl could have come up with. Let's just be glad that it wasn't a harmonica instead of the sax.

  • Heroin addict put out audio heroin for our ears to hear.

Music is so boring without Johnny Thunders, Stiv Bators, and Dee Dee Ramone...

  • SOOO GOOD this song has everything: mystery, lyrics, style, horns and most especially THE GREAT STIV BATORS........REST IN PEACE.

  • Kroq was the best radi sation for underground.Rodney on the roq...

  • @anarchylife4me oh yea ...The world famous KROQ...rock of the 80's...with Jet the Fish ..Mando...Richard Blade ..and Poor Man...

  • @louieg40 Those were the days.

  • @anarchylife4me yup, those were the days ... Rodney on Sunday nights ...

  • @anarchylife4me I'm only beginning to appreciate how subversive KROQ was in relation to other major stations.

  • @anarchylife4me

Maybe in the western part of the US, but east of the Mississippi, WLIR was the most amazing station ever.

  • Even for the 80's those were really bad sunglasses.

  • Reminds me of KROQ radio station in Pasadena, CA. Great song....better yet great VIDEO, Thanx for sharing eminmusic

  • I saw them perform at Magic Mountain amusement park in Valencia, CA 1986.

  • @desires4u2 They had the best New Wave shows at Magic Mountain. I remember seeing Oingo Boingo, b-52's, Sparks and Felony there. Bummed I missed these guys. By 1986 I was in the Persian Gulf...

  • This song is slammin. STIV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This Song sounds like a perfect description of the actions of the United Nations

  • @herbertkearse and indeed all politicians ...

  • @herbertkearse If you're referring to the permanent member countries of the Security Council, I would agree.

  • @herbertkearse the u.n. is just the focus of attention..shift that focus on the master of puppets.

  • @herbertkearse This song is about the policies, power and actions (ie, manipulation) of governments of sovereign countries. Most powerful, Western countries have the option to dismiss and pull out of any action directed at them by the U.N. This song and band are from the "left" end of the spectrum - talking about what George Orwell talked about. However, it's a common conservative argument that the U.N. is trying to take over the world. This song is not about that.

  • @RainPoetry shall i move to alaska

  • @Simon4642 Yes. I've heard it's lovely all year.

  • @herbertkearse

    or the IMF.

  • @herbertkearse
