I quite liked this. Would be good cut up into sketches running through a sketch show. Any two comedians talking will always be compared to Smith and Jones, who stole the concept from Morecombe and Wise. My Dad has a video of them doing just the same thing. But this IS funny.
Top stuff, really like this. Came to it via Glen Maney link. I reckon Glen training Ricky to lose weight would be a great follow up to Fat as F*ck. Come on BBC get it on three ! Get on the level on too. I've seen Keith Drover and he's bloody funny as well. Good stuff.
watched all glen's sketches and now looking at ricky's who i thought was great in fat as f*ck and looks brilliant in the limelight and i have to see these six skits made me smile and laugh out loud at times. must see him live asap. HAPPY NEW YEAR
glen maney told me to look for this and said it was funny and do you know what ? he was bang on the nail. I hope this does end up on our screens. As with glen's stark naked chef character, there's so much potential for these two characters to develop.Let's hope there's a television executive out there with his or her haed screwed on. Judging by the schedules though, I somehow doubt it ! Funny material though fellas.
LOL. Just been shown this in the office and have to say, maybe these two should be given the middle east crisis to solve, they talk more sense than the politicians ! lmao. I haven't come across either of these before, but have just watched the Ricky Grover clips and they're funny too. I like the salt on the chips. lmao.
Found this via the link from the Limelight and glad I watched this now. I watched all six sections and was in constant laughter. greta writing and great performances and most of all. Funny. I agree. Get it on the box. I remember Ricky Grover as Bulla and he was even funnier than Ali G on that Channel four programme presented by the guy with the weird head.
Quality and funny writing from one of the best comedians I've ever seen. I want this on the box too. It'd be a nice change to have something funny on. After extras finished, we were left with nothing. This could just be the hit we need.
Enjoyed this little comedy skit, watched all six and think it'd be a good programme for the television. I think there's lots of potential for it. I don't think it's like Smith and Jones, it has a theme for a start. I enjoyed it.
Another piece of quality comedy from one of the best stand-ups I've seen and obviously one of the best all round comedy talents around. I can't wait to see this, The Limelight and Bulla The Movie. I used to love that character. We've just had the best laugh this morning.
I think this is funny. I agree with tear through a salmon and it's not a real fish being funny. I think this should be on the television, but then again perhaps it's too funny ?
Yes, well I'm a ricky fan anyway, but I have to say, this is bloody funny. I'm a Keith Dover fan too, so I'm in my element. I'm also a converted Maney fan, you lot are a talented bunch and should be on the box, there's no doubt about it. This IS funny.
Got this through a link from Glen Maney. This is great. I hope it is going to get a television airing. It's qwerky and a bit different. I love the "give salmon to a jew and he'll tear through it !" line. lmao.Funny material.
This is what I want on the box when I come home from the pub, not the shite that's on tonight ! the french connection for the 147th time ! BBC get your arses into gear and get Mr. Grover and friend's on where they belong. Start earning your licence fee and entertaining us, so we don't have to go to the net.
This is a genius piece of writing, a modern day derek and clive. This is the type of show that is so desperately needed on British tv. Ricky Grover is without a doubt one of Britain's best comedians. His acting and comic timing is perfect, as I have seen in Black Books, Bulla and 'Orrible. This show has the potential for a great sitcom - more of this please.
I can see the similarity too, in that it's two guys chatting, but that's like saying Not The Nine O' Clock news was like Monty Python. Funny is funny and this gave us all a laugh.
I can see the similarity to Smith and Jones, but I like the reoccuring themes that Smith and Jones never had. I think this is funny, but maybe should be cut into little segments, maybe in a sketch show format with other characters. It lost my concentration a bit. Very funny material though.what about as part of the BULLA SHOW ? or mixed with the other dudes on here. The Giggle Factory. That Stark Naked Chef, had me in tears.
I like Ricky Grover live, I saw him at the Comedy Store last week and he had me in tears. This looks like it's going to be a funny programme. I'll keep a look out for it.
when i see crap like that lead balloon and titty titty bang bang on the box, surely a bit of refreshing realism and comedy like this has to get an airing apart from you tube !
yes,the myspace page was right, it is worth a look. very funny and i too, would like to know when and where it hits our screens.Lovely underplaying by Ricky Grover and the other guy.
This looks as though it's going to be one of those cult comedies. When's it going to be on and where. It looks bloody funny and something we can relate to at last.

Well I don't know about Smith and Jones, but this had me chuckling. I like the concept that most people can relate to white van man. Funny.
