  • “Woe to him who strives with Him who formed him...Does the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’ or ‘Your work has no handles’? Woe to him who says to a father, ‘What are you begetting?’ or to a woman, ‘With what are you in labor?’” Thus says the LORD, the Holy One of Israel..."will you command Me concerning my children and the work of my hands? I made the earth and created man on it; it was my hands that stretched out the heavens, and I commanded all their host." —God in Isa.45:9

  • @sexyeur

Are you still trolling my board? I'm not interested in watching you copy and paste the Bible at me. Either contribute something meaningful or kindly piss off.

  • @AntiCitizenX

    Proverbs 8:36:

"...but he who fails to find me injures himself; all who hate me love death.”

  • Thus says the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus...subdue nations..that you may know that it is I, the LORD, the God of Israel, who call you..name. For the sake of my servant Jacob, and Israel my chosen, I call you by your name, I name you, though you do not know me. I am the LORD, and there is no other, besides me there is no God; I equip you, though you do not know me, that people may know...there is none besides me; I am the LORD, and there is no other.—God foretells Cyrus the Great in Isaiah 45.

  • I did stand up DEMAND proof and FACTS...

    And FOUND THEM...

No bias (well I trust nature NOT man) No Belief just simple facts of nature.

Walter Russell's theory validated by Nikola Tesla..

Question is how can 6.9 Billion ignore nature and science?

Sorry to pop your bubble your actually pretty bright and might clue in one day.

  • Further the Living God didn't call us to any religion. He called us to Himself. His Followers have always been hated because the lines in this war were drawn long before we even cared to think about it. "Choose this day whom you will serve..." His love or His hatred. Life or death, because by nature, our Maker Himself is greater than we are alone ourselves... Fear God and live. The Lord has mercy and He's better than these pigs want you to know. Throw off the shackles! Believe, & U will be free!

  • There is only one way to the Father, Yeshua HaMashiach (aka "Jesus") told us. That's by faith in Him alone. Believe it continue living damned. Just know Believers don't believe gay fairies like juvenile Anti'X here who'd insist he can't find a difference between his butt and a hole in the ground. Only the extremely stupid will follow a fool like that. Believers have the sure word of prophecy. Israel is the banner He spoke of in Isaiah. Cyrus He called by name ~150 years before he lived, &on&on..

  • great stuff, please apply it to our old socioeconomic system...

  • Religion hijacks your mind, plays on your fear of death, uses the terrorist tools of threats and bribes. And most importantly claims you are a defective sinner that needs saving ( So you don't depend on your own mind or thinking.) This alone is the reason why our jails in America are so full, Google Pygmalion effect for more info on how evil this is. It also commands you to pretty kill anything or anyone who is not a Christian if you read your buybull.

  • @MyITRcom "religion hijacks your mind" and stupidity has hijacked yours if you think this is all life is meant to be. Believer won't behead you. You're not to fear us. Scriptures are clear that it's the Living God you despise so well that you *should* fear, but you're too stupid for that since religion may as well be another word for worldview; & like an asshole everyone has one; but jackoffs like feel safer 'hijacking' themselves. Fear the Living God or be as stupid. Hell is waiting..

  • @sexyeur 'scriptures are clear...' is an oxymoron

  • And teach your children as well, from a young age! Great video friend.

  • @sheri226 That alone is going to save our world! Thanks for saying that!

  • Can't believe I didn't sub sooner.

    Great series.

  • The Living Dinosaur sent me here. Great stuff so far.

  • Yes it was. What song is it?

  • that song was excellent

  • Great video.

  • 60 trilion trillion flies can't be wrong - Eat Shit!

  • i said b for the first question because i thought it was one of those optical illusion tricks :(

  • @BlackMetalPoser "Religion only started because..."

Hey 'poser—at least you got that part of your name right—secularism *is* a worldview—as religious as any—if only because you believe in it, to a prejudiced exclusion of the few you choose. It's funny you quote a satanist to justify secularism, especially when the Western world we live in, is due by Judeo-Christian values. What? Did you skip all your world history classes? Forget that Greco-Romans had their little petty gods like you too? Yes.

  • @sexyeur Go look up the Treaty of Tripoly you dumb ass freak. The buy bull is self-contradictory, highly immoral, hearsay, superstition and vile. The gospel writers never even met Jesus and we have no eyewitness accounts from historians who were contemporaries of Jesus. Tacitus was not born until 37 AD and his mentionings of Jesus are considered forgeries given the different writing styles from the rest of the texts. Emotional attachment to belief does not make it true. Grow the fuck up.

  • @sexyeur Hey wake up, the bible is immoral and not a good life guidebook not to mention, it's not 100% truth!

  • Schönes Video/Reihe

  • dude you might want to credit Ray Lynch on the video for the music. I know his stuff isn't that well know but it's still copyrighted. ;-)

Great series BTW! sending it to my family right now. hopefully they receive it well.

  • @LilCarpetsharks

He is credited in the description box. But yes, I should have credited him in the video as well.

  • @AntiCitizenX One of my favorite songs of his. I scared my husband with my shriek of joy at the soundtrack.

  • Very informative Sir, I really appreciate the Time and Effort you have put into this presentation. Keep up the good work!

  • Interesting......AND....Good music.

  • "how can 2 billion people all be wrong?"

How many racists are there in the world, I suspect it is in the millions maybe even billions. Do those large numbers make racism right in anyway?

People trying to sell you something often like to use specifically chosen large numbers and statistics.

So yes 2 billion people can be wrong!

  • I like this one better than your other video with Dallin H Oaks. Conformity is seen everywhere, even in the scientific community. Thinking for yourself is vital.

  • Brother, you got a point from your perspective, but I suggest to move a little bit around and ask. Your self this question. If you had a party and you invited 10 friends, and 5 of them got you a present A and 3 of them got you a present B and 2 of them got you a present C, would you say that someone did the right / wrong choice?. Respect others religion and belong to one or all of them or trust your very own consciousness, they all say the same thing.

  • @themhz

How does scientific study of religious belief strike you as disrespectful?

Besides, I am under no obligation to respect any establishment that willfully endorses superstitious gullibility in its membership, nor do I have to respect the people who happily allow themselves to be exploited by such organizations.

  • @AntiCitizenX nope i don't feel stroked by any disrespectfulness, i my self am a scientist. I am saying that many people seem to think that something larger exists, but they cant explain it thus they believe it and they have different ways in believing it.It's obvious that human's provoked god's advises for there own Interest. And i admit that it is a big influence because words have power! . My point is that no one is wrong. :)

  • @themhz

"My point is that no one is wrong"

I beg to differ. Anyone who honestly takes the Bible seriously is not only wrong in their beliefs about reality, but embarrassingly so. This whole notion of "everyone's beliefs are just as good as anyone else's" is a load of crap. Some beliefs are just plain wrong, and the only way to make progress is to figure out what they are and CORRECT THEM.

  • @AntiCitizenX Great point thats suffering from being skewed- "Belief" can't be wrong because it literally means "holding a proposition to be true without exceptional validation; trust, confidence" It's basically {Hope}.

The thing thats undoubtedly wrong, are the delusions of "gnosticism" that get imbued by these practices of faith.

And of course the instances of ignorance to reality because of the lack of understanding that they indicate the history of what people once attributed phenomena to.

  • @AntiCitizenX @themhz If I may get in on this one. Anyone who takes 1500-2000 year old guesses about the reality of the world as serious is worryingly ignorant. If, on the other hand, they adhere to the teachings of their religions in a thoughtful fashion (i.e. ignoring the bits about stoning people to death for working on the sabbath or throwing your virgin daughters out to the ravening mob rather than allowing your guests to be raped), they are quite welcome to continue to do so.

  • Now, to the video itself: regarding the conclusion... A-fucking-men!

  • @AntiCitizenX

Dissent is not easy for a me, being non-practising is easy, and beliefs are private anyway for most of us, but active dissent is a massive problem for Muslims.

  • @superhamzah85 Yep! Start on the Internet where you are safe, make anonymous profiles without your info and start spreading the Good News! The sooner we all love each other the wars stop! Do your part, we are doing ours!

  • For a me? I meant for a Muslim.

  • @AntiCitizenX Absolutely! what is more disrespectful is buying this religious crap then using it to deny Gays equality, start wars with other religions, destroy our planet because you could care less because your going to heaven. Wow the nerve of some idiot!

  • @MyITRcom The only thing special about fags is that they have a specially supernaturally heated place in hell awaiting them. They say their perversion is a civil right, but when blacks faced all manner of evil they did it for the dignity of every man. But who else do petulant fags advocate for, but themselves? Did they rush in their gay parades to defend Mary Kay Latourna and her underaged lover? Hypocrite! You have nothing but your pathetic self-aggrandizing BS to appeal to.Hate evil.

  • Ok, now why don't you prove that what Jesus said was not true.

  • @cmpresents How about you prove what he said was true, give us REAL EVIDENCE. You can't.

  • Theist: consider why you don't believe in Thor, or Zeus, or Jove, or Ra, or Isis, or (yeah, i'm gonna say it) Santa Claus. consider why you don't believe in any of the other gods that have been held in high regard, and low regard. consider why you don't believe in the tooth faerie. and if you answer 'they are man-made constructs' then you know why we don't believe in your god/s too.

all you need to do is learn HOW to think, and stop working on WHAT to think

  • Believe in Jesus Christ while we have the good news, before it turns bad. He is not returning as your lowly suffering servant. He is returning in all power as King and Lord—the kind that makes heads rolls when some dare to disagree with Him!

Repent! Or be damned, eternally. It's that serious.

"I knew you would surely turn against Me....I will not let people speak evil against Me, and I will not let some god take My glory...I am God."—Isaiah 48 (NCV)

    Repent!

  • @sexyeur he was a magalomaniac creep!! so what?!

  • @razrX "he was a megalmaniac...so what"--razrX

that makes you a Liar. He had a purpose when He came, the first time. To die for your sins, not to lord them over you. But you keep piling up yours till you're way in over your head. I'd advise you to take wisdom. The Bible says even a fool is counted wise when he shuts his mouth about things too wise for him. Do it. It might make you look less peevish, or like some "megalomaniac creep". As you judge...so you will be judged. You will give account

  • @sexyeur are u kidin me?!! you advise me to take wisdom...based on the fuckin bible?!? why not alah and the kuran?!?! or harry potter ant the magical stone of whathever?!?! cmon...you need to do better than that

  • @razrX "why not alah and the kuran? or harry potter"

Yes, we have the sure word of prophecy, verily, I tell you the truth. He's not done yet. But you don't hear the voice of truth, whether it whispers or screams to you that there is One greater than your peon brain. You rather hear your own stupidity, and then pat yourself on the back for it, as if others should applaud. It is most unfortunate and Most unwise. Humble yourself, then God may see fit to lead you into Truth, because only He can.

  • @sexyeur no...humble YOURself!!! IM not the one here claiming to know all of the truth in the whole fucking universe.. for every christian/catholic(or another one of more than 33THOUSAND denominations...) saying that he OWNS the truth, I can show you another person from another religion..say a muslim for example. And u know what? he will say the very same thing about owning the truth, and bla bla bla. please read a book other than the bible

  • Jesus Christ is the Truth! Everything else a lie!

Ask Budha, "I don't know anything..."

    And he'll never know why!

Such are your "gods" who sleep and seduce you to slumber while the reaper comes near to you... Wake up!!!

  • @sexyeur

"Such are your "gods" who sleep and seduce you to slumber while the reaper comes near to you... Wake up!!!"

blah blah blah, delusional religious windbag blah blah. Come back when you finally decide to un-fuck your brain and want to start living in reality.

  • Atheist "You do evil things but you feel safe and say, 'No one sees what I do.' Your wisdom and your knowledge have fooled you. You say to yourself, 'I am God and no one is equal to me.' But troubles will come to you and you will not know to stop them. Disaster will fall on you...You will be destroyed quickly and you will not even see it coming. Keep on using your tricks...your magic...Maybe you will be able to scare someone..[but you] cannot save [yourself] from the power of the fire." —Isa.47

  • @sexyeur

Theist: Copy and paste any of that crap from the Qu'ran and pretend a Muslim is saying it to you. Do you feel worried in the slightest? No? That's how worried you make the rest of us feel. I mean seriously dude, do you have any idea at all how stupid and laughable you look right now?

  • @AntiCitizenX i wonder how stupid you must feel. That's what I wonder. Quite a bit, I think. It's like you're naked and can't find any clothes. It's like you're blind and can't see your way out. It's like you're lame and can't even crawl when you feel just like running... That's what I think. Remember that saying: There's nothing to fear but fear itself. The truth is, there's nothing to fear, but God Himself. Believe it. He's coming for you. Indeed. You'll need more than stupidity on your side.

  • @sexyeur

Did you even watch this video? Or do you just like to randomly spew insulting nonsense at people over the internet?

I have two suggestions for you:

    1) Look up "Dunning-Kruger effect." You need it.

    2) Look up "Evidence that projection of a feared trait can serve a defensive function."

God is not coming for me. He is a figment of your imagination. Please stop deluding yourself.

  • @AntiCitizenX :) Eureka, I struck your chord didn't I :P lol My advice to you? Read a Bible. Really read it you rebel, with open ears and heart. Generations of people were screwed up on sheer Freudian and Spockish "psychological" stupidity. You could well be their product! Yikes! But first and foremost, repent. It's good advice, meant for your entire soul--not just your simpleton's "argument"...Lord have mercy.

"Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite." Ps.147:5

  • - Have you even watched the video?

    - I have read the Bible. It is the obvious product of a bronze-age mythology.

    - I have nothing to repent for.

    - You just referred to an experimental demonstration of peer-pressure as "Spockish stupidity." Which one of us is being closed-minded here?

  • @sexyeur LOLOLOL youre not only delusional but paranoic also!!!

  • @AntiCitizenX I'm worried you delude yourself that a retarded attitude substitutes for such greater intelligence. UC when you ask me, the Believer, to 'pretend' I'm moslem to use that as some asinine excuse for feigned incredulity, you mock yourself. It's always revolting to watch atheists insist He doesn't exist when they're always the first to admit they could never know anything about Him at all. And frankly I don't pretend. I am, and you're just the sad 'pretender'. Repent.

  • @AntiCitizenX 8 months later, and he's still on a tirade. This guy is a prime specimen of everything this series spoke of.

  • @PachucoDesigns

    Song of Solomon 8:6:

Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm, for love is strong as death, jealousy is fierce as the grave. Its flashes are flashes of fire, the very flame of the LORD.

  • @sexyeur And?

  • @PachucoDesigns

Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, who formed you from the womb: “I am the LORD, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself, who frustrates the signs of liars and makes fools of diviners, who turns wise men back and makes their knowledge foolish, who confirms the word of his servant and fulfills the counsel of his messengers... —Isaiah 44:25

  • @sexyeur Uh huh. And?

  • @PachucoDesigns

    Revelation of John 21:8:

"But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

  • @sexyeur Are you done?

  • @sexyeur I like how the video lays waste to the practice of using popular ideas as the only basis for an argument, and the only "support" you can muster is popular "support."

Your rhetorical skills are laughable. It's almost like the best response you could muster was "nu-uh!"

  • yeah most ppl are dumb as fuck. so true.

  • SOLOMON ASCH FOR THE WIN!!!

  • Thank you for making and sharing this! It was very clearly presented and easily absorbed, and the message at the end about one voice making a difference was inspiring. I'll try to hang on to this and remind myself of it in situations where it may prove useful.

  • Social pressure/compliance is what you illustrate, as demonstrated repetition forms beliefs, hearing the same answer/message from many is pursuasive and what advertisers and governments use to great effect. Yes the masses fall victim, but few evade this trap. Like those who arrive here. Also interesing is that God, Mary, Jesus were once recognised as Osiris, Isis and Horus, unfortunately egyptian astrological mythology isn't taught, for if it was, there surely would be no Christianity.

  • @Elibobbob Oh really? (yawn) I'm socially-compliant? since when? (Cuz usually I'm a "pita"). Nah, you're just a petty liar, and that being so, your only victim is you. & while "misery" can't buy you company, we all know better to avoid such blatant self-serving mawkishly hypocritical displays of stupidity from low lifes who thinks we're merely "socially pressured" to uphold the high cost of personal beliefs we gladly suffer. I mean look how well-restrained I am in the face of your stupidity!

  • @sexyeur If you were self restraint you wouldn't have embarrassed yourself replying to my 'lies' by calling me a 'liar' a 'victim' I am in 'miser' and without 'company' I am self serving and mawkish and hypocritical and stupid, also a lowlife.. hehe when people don't understand knowledge they often respond with name calling, attacking intelligence with name calling is their only defence, sadly.

  • The rational possibility that one's belief could be ungrounded in reality does not mean that they are false.

In fact, if anything, that should give them more credibility, because you then realize that all belief, including anything under the guise of objectivity is itself subject to the same scrutiny.

  • I agree with the last three statements at the very end: stand up for yourself, express your doubts, and ask tough questions. And as a Christian theist, I feel this is especially important. There is a lot you fail to address here though. Namely, what about the situations were peer pressure sways in the opposite direction to religion or Christianity? I can think of many places were Christianity is highly frowned upon and discouraged. Take college for instance. Or Muslim counties like Kosova.

  • @alterangel182

"what about the situations were peer pressure sways in the opposite direction to religion or Christianity?"

What about them? They would be baseless as well. But what you fail to understand is that Christianity relies ENTIRELY on psychological manipulation in order to generate belief. There does not exist a single verifiable piece of physical evidence or empirical test that validates the existence of your God.

  • @AntiCitizenX

How would they be baseless? Your whole argument hinges on peer support for a belief. But what happens when peer support is absent or peer resentment is replaced instead? Also, your statement that Christianity is entirely based on psychological manipulation is a giant assertion. An assertion that your videos don't seem to support very well, either from a philosophical or psychological position. And I can name a verifiable piece of evidence: us. That anything exists at all.

  • @alterangel182

"But what happens when peer support is absent or peer resentment is replaced instead?"

There is more than one way to generate belief in a made-up notion. If anything, there is a whole grab-bag of psychological tools at our disposal.

"Also, your statement that Christianity is entirely based on psychological manipulation is a giant assertion."

I demonstrate this pretty well, actually. I have seven whole videos of demonstrable examples of this.

  • @AntiCitizenX

"There is more than one way to generate belief in a made-up notion" Sure there is, but one: you're acting like an evangelical trying to disprove evolution (you're working towards a conclusion that you've already decided upon yet provided slight evidence), and two: You haven't shown how this relates to Christianity. And you don't discuss this in THIS video which I'm addressing. So THIS video has been falsified.

  • @alterangel182

Angel, the point of this video is NOT to disprove Christianity. The point of this video is to show how the mere popularity of a belief is sufficient grounds on which to perpetuate its continued existence, even if it goes against the obvious truth. The point of the series as a whole is to demonstrate a set of similar psychological manipulations that Christians happily employ when spreading their beliefs.

  • @alterangel182

" And I can name a verifiable piece of evidence: us. That anything exists at all."

Nobody knows how the universe got here, or what (if anything) lies outside of it. That does not mean you get to make up a wild fairy-tale story as a blunt instrument to fill in the void of our ignorance. The mere existence of stuff is not a positive indication of anything beyond the mere existence of stuff.

  • @AntiCitizenX

Wow. You're really showing your hand here. A single evidence need only be evidence TOWARDS a given proposition, namely, "God exists". You asked for a SINGLE piece of evidence. I provided it. If a lady says, "I was raped." There is ample evidence (drum roll).... someone raped her!" The evidence isn't just, "she is raped but we can't conclude that someone did it". Because that's ridiculous. If something exists, it is reasonable to assume there must be a cause.

  • @alterangel182

"You asked for a SINGLE piece of evidence. I provided it."

No, you asserted it without justification. The existence of the universe is not proof of a God. Your God is nothing more than a proposed explanation that has zero potential for falsification. Without a foundation on which I can test your assertion, there is no way to tell the difference between a God that exists in reality versus one that you just blindly made up. There are therefore functionally equivalent.

  • @AntiCitizenX

You didn't ask for proof. You asked for, " a single piece of evidence". Which I provided. Sure, the existence of the universe doesn't point to MY God in particular. But it definitely points to a cause. A cause that MUST, by definition, be timelesss, immaterial, and personal. So it points to SOMETHING that isn't natural. There are also plenty of foundations to test my assertion: cosmological, ontological, axiological, Jesus, and properly basic belief.

  • @alterangel182

"You asked for, " a single piece of evidence". Which I provided. "

When I asked you for evidence, I asked for something that positively indicates the reality of your assertion within in a testable framework. All you did was point at the sky and claim magic. For example, on what basis does the "cause" of the universe have to be personal? How do you know there is only one God and not twenty? Since when is causality an immovable property of the cosmos?

  • @alterangel182

    and by "Part 7," I meant "Part 8." :P

  • @alterangel182

"If something exists, it is reasonable to assume there must be a cause. "

You are falling into a very classic pitfall here. I suggest you watch Part 7 of this series. Furthermore,

    1) Causality does not necessarily apply on cosmic/quantum scales.

    2) Even if there is a "cause," if might not be the cause you say it is.

    3) Even if you think your logic is perfect, you still have to empirically demonstrate it or it doesn't count for squat.

  • @AntiCitizenX

Even beyond that (the existence of anything at all), the verificationist theory you are subscribing to is patently false. There is not physical or empirical data to support moral decisions or that minds exist other than your own. In fact the statement itself, "there is not physical or empirical test that validates.. your God" is ITSELF lacking in physical or empirical evidence because words are not physical or empirical.

  • @alterangel182

" In fact the statement itself... is ITSELF lacking in physical or empirical evidence because words are not physical or empirical."

I really want to give you a chance, but if this is the kind of senseless double-talk I can expect from you, then I'm probably wasting my time. The fact of the matter is, you believe in God, and no amount of factual evidence will change your mind. Either truth just does not matter to you, or your understanding of epistemology is totally borked.

  • @AntiCitizenX

Actually, I'm a philosophy major with a minor in psychology. You also sound like the Christians who don't know anything about what they believe. The fact of the matter, you don't believe in God, and no amount of logical reasoning will change your mind. And if you think that me calling out your statements as self defeating is "borked" epistemology, (you obviously only learned that word from looking it up online, or a single semester of ethics 101) you don't understand logic.

  • @alterangel182

"no amount of logical reasoning will change your mind. "

You are right. I do not give a damn about how logical you think God is. I only care about what you can physically demonstrate or experimentally falsify. You know perfectly that you cannot do either of these things in a compelling manner when defending Christianity, and yet you still think your belief is well-justified anyway. I understand logic just fine. You need to learn how it practically relates to reality.

  • @AntiCitizenX

Give me physical evidence that I can experimentally falsify, that other minds exist other than my own? Give me physical evidence that the past was not just created 5 min ago with the appearance of age. Give me physical evidence that things like, math, logic, reason, morality, and the scientific formula exist in reality. Cause we both know you can't. (see, I can play this game all night long). The difference is that I am philosophically sound and you're groping your way around.

  • @alterangel182

Angel, are you talking about absolute, 100 % proof? Or are you talking about logical inference based on empirical observation and tentative deduction? Because you can have the latter, but not the former.

  • @AntiCitizenX

How does it practically relate to reality? Well, you're asking me to make a conclusion and then work backwards. Something you have been doing this entire time. First, if my God exists, then it obviously has practical applications in reality. Showing practical applications for something is not evidence to it's existence, its a RESULT of it's existence.

  • @alterangel182

"First, if my God exists, then it obviously has practical applications in reality. Showing practical applications for something is not evidence to it's existence, its a RESULT of it's existence."

So what exactly is your "practical application?" Because all I've seen so far is a casual glance at the sky followed by the untestable assertion that "God did it."

  • @AntiCitizenX

Well, if you are granting God exists (which you must in order to allow practical application to play a role at all), the practical application is that His claims are true. Concluding that a relationship with God is a reality and the best way to live. It means hell and heaven do exist in reality, which means there is the possibility to go to either. It means one would practically seek relationship with Him because He loves us and wants to be with us, in reality.

  • @alterangel182

"the practical application is that His claims are true."

Which claims? The Bible? The Book of Mormon? The Qu'ran? The Vedas?

"hell and heaven do exist in reality"

Says who? Show me this hell of yours.

"because He loves us and wants to be with us, in reality. "

Again, says who? Maybe he hates us. Maybe he doesn't care about us. Maybe he is actually a SHE or a THEY. You cannot assert as truth what is obviously blind speculation.

  • @AntiCitizenX The Bible is the Word of God, but "Maybe" he hates us, you say. "Maybe" he doesn't care about us. "Maybe" just because you say? And then like hypocrites do, you project your "blind speculation" because you're absolutely guilty of it yourself. Could it be "Maybe" you're just too stupid or proud to humble yourself in your "cherished" ignorance?

Do unto others as you would have them do to you. You spit at Him too long, you'll get your wish!—"Show me this hell of yours." Repent!

  • @sexyeur

Seriously dude, you're just spamming the forum now. I've got a Bible here right in front of me. If I wanted to read scriptures, I'd read it myself. Either make an attempt at having a real discussion or kindly get the hell off my forum.

  • I believe heaven is a better next life, hell is having to repeat this life, and god is somewhere near the center of your brain, ie. the pineal gland. But i don't enforce this belief, nor try to convince others that it's true. Why cant Christians pay the same courtesy? Maybe some people NEED to go to hell (repeat this life) coz they don't 'get it' yet, so leave them be :) Ironically, most Christians don't follow the teachings of Christ, so they're in no position to tell anyone how to live life.

  • @benatssu

You should watch my latest video on the Black Box of Empirical Falsification.

  • @AntiCitizenX good vid.. heaven, hell and god are just labels i gave in my example.. my comment was meant to demonstrate that everyone can have beliefs but it's pointless trying to convince others that they're true (i was referring to the 54% of the world who are in the "war" against Satan worshipers)

  • its not a question of numbers but of quality, numbers say nothing about true substance, the questions should be "who am I ?, where do I come from and where do I go and is there a God" As human beings we can find answers to these questions, animals can not, they r only interested in eating sleeping sex and defending and a human being who only acts in that same capacity but does not ask the above questions, is he any different to an animal? I think simple and humble faith in God is beautiful.

  • @RelaxationMeditation The point is not necessarily WHAT one believes, but WHY one believes what they believe. This series is about SKEPTICISM. It's about EVIDENCE, LOGIC, REASON, QUESTIONING, HONESTY, etc... Skeptics, Agnostics, Atheists, etc. all ask the same sorts of questions that theists ask. We just look in different places for the answers and go about trying to find those answers in a different way.

  • this video is great

  • interesting stuff, I think that the more antagonistic you are to theism the more ideas and reasons you will find to avoid it, then you spread your ideas, get followers and hasta la vista the world has become100% atheistic. So you also want to change the world. The problem being, that despite believing that the world will become a better place if everyone is an atheist, you may find that we still have the same amount of problems, just different ones, people will not be better because of it.

  • @RelaxationMeditation that's true but our problems might be of better "quality". People will have better reasons for disagreeing when they value reason itself over superstition.

  • @hardinmichael1981

I dont think so, because when there is no one to answer to and after death is nothing, then someone out there may think,.. it does not matter what i do even the most hedious crime is without consquences, so lets do it.

  • @RelaxationMeditation If they don't value self-preservation or their own quality of life, then sure. But such people already do terrible things. That's not an argument for religious superstition, it's an argument for better law enforcement. It's not a logical conclusion of atheism b/c the vast majority of atheists (just like the vast majority of believers) are good moral people. So there must be something else going on in the minds of criminals that has little or nothing to do with religion

  • @RelaxationMeditation And [OF COURSE] I'm talking about MOST CRIMINALS. WE can all think of criminals who have acted in the NAME/SAKE of religion. But none of the GREAT 20TH CENT. MASS MURDERERS acted in the NAME/SAKE of atheism. Some of them no doubt WERE ATHEISTS. But that is not WHY they did what they did. And it's certainly not a LOGICAL conclusion that a SANE person could REASONABLY draw from atheism. What is really to blame ultimately is the CREDULITY/GULLIBILITY of their followers.

  • @RelaxationMeditation

"it does not matter what i do even the most hideous crime is without consequences, so lets do it. "

How on Earth does the lack of an afterlife lead you to this conclusion? And what relevance does this even have to the true state of reality?

  • Congrats for your videos about atheism and the psychology of belief. Do you have a written transcription of the spoken texts? I ask you because I´m spanish-speaker, and it´s easier for me to read written english than to understand spoken english. Also, with a written transcription, your videos could be subtitled in spanish (and other languages).

  • @gprimero

I do have a script file that I read from while recording the video. I could probably post that online somewhere. I am a little busy at the moment, but that is something I can easily work on over a weekend sometime if I get enough nagging reminders from people. ;)

  • Very helpful!! This explains how the "cofederate" mainstream media had me convinced within 48 hours of 9/11 that WTC1 and 2 were brought down by plane impact and fire---despite my initial visceral reaction that what I witnessed (rapid, vertical collapse of a steel-framed building) was impossible. When I learned 4 1/2 years later that there were physicists, engineers, architects, CIA vets and military vets dissenting from the confederates' narrative, I was brought back to my senses. Thanks!!

  • So we need one guy to stand up and dissent, to get the conformists to conform to his way of thinking? brilliant.. brilliant.

  • @haidermann1

If you're an idiot who didn't actually pay attention to the video, then yes.

  • @AntiCitizenX this is the lamest argument i'v seen to date about bashing faith. the video was spectacularly false, and erroneous in its positioning. not to mention gay as shit.

  • @haidermann1

Do you dispute the power of peer pressure to generate conformity to a false perception?

  • @AntiCitizenX Do you dispute the power of peer pressure to generate conformity to a false perception?

    Nope.

I also don't deny the fact that people can agree on perception without the effects of one influencing the other or vice versa.

Nor do I deny the fact that One can apply the teachings of the gospel, seek the Holy Ghost and actually receive genuine conformation from him. And not be the least bit delusional or mentally ill.

    Because God is authentic

  • @haidermann1

"the video was spectacularly false, and erroneous in its positioning. not to mention gay as shit."

So basically, this was just a bunch of hot air then. Are you going to actually substantiate your claims with specifics? Or are you just going to troll my forum with your subjective testimonials riddled with angry undertones?

  • @AntiCitizenX What are you talking about? I just answered your question, plus gave you extra info on my thoughts you inquired on.

  • @haidermann1

You have hurled baseless accusations and then retracted them, and then re-affirmed them. Are you even trying here? How old are you, anyway? 12?

I also suggest you go and watch Part 6 on hallucinations. You are absolutely delusional if you think a few happy feelings after prayer is indicative of any sort of truth. They are called "Psychological Intrusions" and happen all the time to everyone.

  • @AntiCitizenX "How old are you, anyway? 12?"

whats with all you fukin pedophile atheist looking for 12 year olds? I can see why Homosexuality was classified as a mental illness before Homosexuals took over the board of the DSM.

I would tell you to go watch part 6 of your bull shit, but you wouldn't understand you own concept any way... lol

I'll let you be,.. have fun fantasizing over the online JC Penny Catalog perv.

  • @haidermann1

Okay, you're just a troll. You are obviously not interested in learning. Get lost.

  • The question about identifying the guy, the answer really was C. I thought so before the video suggested 'c' as an answer. I double checked afterwards and confirmed C is the guy. Why didn't you let the group choose a wrong answer for that one? The video kinda suggests that it's a wrong answer.

  • @NotThat3

"The video kinda suggests that it's a wrong answer."

You're the second guy to chew me out for that. I thought it might be cute to throw you off with a correct answer, but I guess I probably should have just stuck to the theme by having the other guys be wrong. The actual answer is really not so important anyway, so much as the tendency to trust other people over your own perception.

  • Outstanding series. Obviously, the research you mention throughout the series does not only apply to religion, but to UFO believers, anti-vaccination apologetics, GW deniers, 9/11 truthers and so on.

I recommended you to my skeptic friends. This series is a valuable addition to anyones baloney detection kit. ;-)

  • @smarthandsomeguy

    Thank you!

  • Comment removed

  • At 4:54 it says, "Even the presence of a single dissenting ally is enough to reduce conformity by 80%."

This is exactly why churches despise apostates.

  • @bjjolley The problem with `Faith´ is that people believe something BECAUSE they know it is not `true´ in the ordinary sense. Belief gives the feeling of being in charge of what is true or not by an act of will - in order to be free of the feeling of being a victim of hard, unchangeable facts. Faith is the act of forcing something to be true because we want it to be. This self-delusion provides more in terms of self-image to primitive concience than facing facts would. Faith needs to be despised

  • @mossfitz Faith is tool used to not worry about getting things wrong. That is why most theists do not research if their beliefs are true.

  • I've seen all these vids a number of times with great interest. Even still, seeing this breaks my heart all over again. What kind of organization could use these techniques and, with a straight face, still claim any moral authority? I bought it for so. damn. long.

Thank you for the clarity this series brings.

  • @bjjolley

You're welcome! I'm glad you are enjoying them and learning from them.

  • this is dope bro u have me hooked +sub

  • Really good vid.

BTW who did the music on this one?

  • @z8000783

Read the description for the musical credits.

  • AntiCitizenX, I like your videos because it makes me think.

Could you debunk the following videos, as an interesting challenge?

    Reincarnated WWII pilot:

Youtube video: Reincarnation- past life evidence (P 1)

    Reincarnated painter:

Youtube video: Reincarnation, past life on proof positive.

    Reincarnated general:

    Youtube video: Reincarnation, BORN AGAIN?

  • Fucking awesome vid!

  • damn this is an amazing video, i can't wait to watch the rest of the series. the 80% figure was shocking (single dissenting ally reducing conformity by 80%) the human mind is a truly fascinating thing, especially with regards to how it interacts with other human minds. do you know where i can find a larger image of the map presented at around 4:35?

  • @oggleman

Just Google "Leading Church Bodies, 2000" and you'll find it.

Thank you also for the kind feedback.

  • i remenber a girl once saying nonbelief was stupid and it caused me to question myself. i wanted to believe so i wouldn't be seen as stupid.

  • Celestial Soda Pop!

  • Brilliant! I knew about the research papers you mention, but you summary and conclusion is just great. thanks! 5 starts and subbed.

  • This is such an excellent video. Did you change the ending of it? Because I thought I remember you having a different ending to it...advocating religion.

Perhaps it was a different vid all together...it's been a long time since I watched it last and my memory is....lol...not that good.

  • @blaziermissy

I can't change a video without re-uploading it altogether. It has always been an anti-religion video. In fact, your earlier comment on my profile is making a LOT more sense now :)

If you haven't already, I recommend that you watch the rest of the videos in the series.

  • @AntiCitizenX Yes, I watched them..they're great!

Sorry for my earlier response comment...I simply must have confused it with another video.

Always in a hurry and being interrupted constantly, I obviously mistaked your vid content with another.

  • It seems that people like to use this when trying to show that their religion is true (ex. some Christians make the argument that Christianity is the world's largest religion, therefore it must be true). This is nothing more than the fallacy of Appeal to Popularity.

  • This is a fantastic series of videos...thank you!!! I was wondering why I can't Embed your code to highlight it on my channel. Could I have permission to do so?

  • this video is a success, i only came out after watching the holy spirit challenge.. now of course patcondel was my favorite

  • love it always wondered about peer pressure studys.

  • Just because many peolpe belive in something, doesn't mean it stil can be bullshit... People thought the earth was flat some time ago, but when people got the knowledge otherwise the old theori died out. Btw the first ones that implyed that the earth was in fact not the center of the univerce, people got killed by the church

  • @vgk12345

[Just because many peolpe belive in something, doesn't mean it stil can be bullshit]

Correct; But merely citing the popularity of the belief itself does not make it true either. All this video demonstrates is a physical mechanism by which popularity generates public conformity. If you watch the rest of the series, you will see how this may be compounded with other biases to create actual belief in made-up fiction.

  • I have met with many an emporers costume.

  • So what difference does it make? So you don't believe in Christianity, what do you believe in? Some Christians make it a toxic faith, some use it for their own beneift and the benefit of others thru charity. What difference does it make?

    What is the sound track?

  • What's the difference? Truth is the difference.

Sound track = Ray Lynch's "Celestial Soda Pop"

  • Thanks for the soundtrack info! There are many things we hold as truth today that we will find out tomorrow that is not truth, Unfortunately we as humans are poor judges of truth. If someone is doing something bad, that hurts people under the guise of truth then it could be argued that that is wrong, but if someone believes something that is not true and actually brings forth good, then is that bad?
