Zubrus was here for like 1/4 of the year. He got like 10 pts for us. I think we'll be fine without him. The sabres will not struggle to make the playoffs. The people who where on the drury and breire line are still great goal scorers. Even without them. They won't be as good as last year, but they'll be good enough to give buffalo a top 5 playoff spot.
flyers have players with good personality which will make them get use to each other quickly which will than equal to a great team with lots of talent and experience and leadership flyers are going to be a powerhouse in the eastern conference

Buffalo will be a playoff contender next year, while pilly will strugle to make it because of a lack of playing experience with each other.

We made it to the finals last season with AHL players when half our team was out with injurys.

I'm pretty sure that the requirements of being an all star defenseman is not sucking.
And the big hit sure isnt the whole, but it's deffinatly a big part. Take a look at the ducks. Their gritty, tough physical style of play scared the shit out of the smaller players on the ice and that's also what's gotten them to the stanley cup.

As for the teams Buff. got lucky with some of their moves but now luck has run out and the true stupidity has set in. Few in Buffalo realize how much we improved. I cant wait to show them on the ice! Trading forsberg didnt cause us to finish last. We already in last place during november. Forsberg is past his prime now and he was always injured. We were in last place because Primeau retired, Desardins retired,)The Flyers organization made a stupid trade to Chicago by getting rid of Michael Handzus for Kyle Calder, and 4.)The flyers just didnt have the speed and skill needed to compete in the new NHL. The flyers were just at a point where they needed to completely rebuild their team.

Yup... Flyers enjoy Briere (and Biron).Briere's the best shot you got at winning the cup. Its a shame on our front office we couldn't keep him.Yet at the same time Briere became great because of THE SABRES. Except in 08 when hes hoisting the cup at the Wachovia Center. What Sabres fans dont get is its not just Briere that makes us better. We now have the best defense in the East with Timonen, Smith, Hatcher, Kukkonen, Coburn, and Parent. We already had a superstar in Gagne who will continue to flourish espesually with Briere on his line and Forsberg wants to return to the orange and black. Our team is stacked.
