Get rid of the "Divisions" (Hence MD, WD, YMD, and YWD) and I may join tomorrow! I am an ex-SGI member. I know from experience as all this sounds beautiful and Heart warming -- ONLY iF ONE IS UNDER 40 YEARS OF AGE! (The vast majority of activities with in the SGI organisation is for the YMD and YWD ONLY (Young Men's Division and Young Women's Division respectively)! The MD and WD (Men's and Women's Division) have very limited activities! This is NOT Nichiren's way! Get rid of ageism, sexism!

Thanks For this Video.. The Mystic Law is so Amazing!.. I beleive that everyone must work so hard to fulfill their dreams.. rather than slouching and waiting for some "External Force" to do the working for you.. Thanks Nichiren.. Thanks SGI!

Nice Video and thanks to the guys that made the effort to make it and to introduce that (SGI) Buddhism is all about. I have tried a number of buddhist traditions since I was a teenager. Many of them were basically meditate alone. They could all be tarred with the same brush - in action, even my favorite NKT. Nichiren Daishonin buddhism (including SGI) is very focused of getting off your butt and doing something about it. It is a very active form of buddhism - is that a cult?

Refer to the statement of jonpetry (or should i name you "jeopard"?), I wonder if SGI is a cult, why r u so interested to access its video and keep looking at the review? I wonder if SGI is a cult, there are always lack of profound evidence statement to proof it? I wonder if SGI is a cult, how did i transform myself from a treason person to an amazing person in the society? I wonder, do u know about Nichiren Buddhism? sorry to hear about you're a buddhist, but u seems to know nothing.

Sorry to be the one to say this but the Soka Gakkai is a break away cult and not Nichiren Buddhism. There are Nichiren Buddhists in the world and many of these belong to the Nichiren Shu.

who are you to even question someone's contentment?

lets not make this like fundamentalist Islam or Christianity....rigid definitions and one way thinking.

sorry but I do know. I have been a Buddhist for the majority of my adult life and I have had many friends and associates who were members of the SGI and left when they realized just how little of what the SGI taught had to do with Buddhism. The SGI is dishonest and authoritarian, sending out disinformation concerning former members and other Buddhist sects. They hide their finances and rule from the top down. They haven't even told their members Ikeda is in a coma and breathing his last.
