@david9200 Now that I think about it, the zombies do look alot like the Maitlands did in the ending of Beetlejuice, where they started to turn old. I wonder if the same effects company worked on this and that.

One of the finest zombie movies ever. This NEEDS TO GET TO DVD!!!! Hell if they make it blue ray, I'll buy a blue ray player just to see it (not right away but I'm just saying thats how much l like this movie).
Well yes and no. No professionally released DVD of this exists but I did manage to pick up a poorly recorded DVDR version of it at the Chiller Theater show in NJ this past Octobert. The qualitys not great but I'm happy to own it in any form at this point. Great Zombie movie! That woods scene haunted my dreams as a kid.
Ha ha ha I remember seeing this movie when it came out. A Satanic television that features a Zombie film with Zombies coming out into our reality...classic.
Fuck this brings back memories!

I think this has one of the best zombie effects. They look pretty good, especially for a cheap 80s film.

I LOVE The Video Dead. The Screenplay is genius and it has one of the best characters ever, THE GARBAGE MAN!
I have the VHS for this, but its pretty used. I wish they would release this on DVD!!!
