i did the same thing the other day. accidentally shot 9 mil out a glock 23c. the only thing that was odd was i noticed the slide wouldnt cycle and a slight accuracy diff i thought it was a problem with the firearm. once i noticed the diff i had my uncle who owns a gun shop. not a thing wrong with the gun. he thought it was funny cause he was the one who handed me the glock 40 instead of 9 mil
I have gave a G22 and bought the Wolf 9mm barrel for it. I bought cheap g17 and took the base plate off the mags, and painted them yellow. I will always know what caliber I am feeding into my Glock.
glad u didnt have a worse problem man... they really do look very similar i can see how it happened and i am sure it has happened to someone else with multiple glocks cuz they do look almost identicle. on the comments about the .357 sig i was wondering if there is any other ammo that can be fired safely out of it cuz i have a glock 31 which is my favorite all time handgun made by glock and i always wondered if u can shoot other easier to find rounds out of it cuz the sig ammo is tough to find.
@6stringzstrummin There is no other ammo besides 357 SIG that should ever be fired in your Glock 31. I would recommend getting a .40 caliber or 9mm conversion barrel for your 31, it costs around $100 and then you have two (or three) guns in one. If you get the .40 conversion barrel it is a straight drop-in replacement, you can even use your 357 magazines. If you go with the 9mm conversion you will need some 9mm mags from a Glock 17. Lone Wolf tends to make the least expensive conversion barrels.
...at first, when you said you fired 9mm through a .40, I thought "bullshit" the bore is bigger and the bullet can´t be fired because it will go down through the barrel...I never thought the extractor could hold it in place enough to fire it. You teached me a great lesson. Thanks! Very interesting video.
@JAVI19832007 Funny, before I did it, I would have thought the same thing; especially since the 9mm round will simply fall right through the bore of the .40 like I demonstrated in the video. Thank you for the comments and for watching!
lonewolf makes a kit that will convert a glock .40 into a 9mm and i think the .357 sig. if im not mistaking i never got round to buying one i have actually chambered a 9mm round in my .40 to see if it would work but was never brave enough to fire it and blow apart a 600 dollar handgun i heard of a guy shooting 9mm through a .357 sig glock at my gun dealer said it was cheaper but a.357 is a necked down round so i dont know how that would go either
@htslittleman The 9mm through a 357 SIG would be a very interesting experiment....I just think I'll leave that up to someone else though. I would try it if someone was willing to donate me a 357 SIG Glock, a pistol vise, and a very long piece of paracord ; )
Thanks for the info.and your honesty. Most guys would never admit to doing something like that. This video just made me more alert and in a sense scared, because one can never be too careful when it comes to firearms handling. Any negetive comments on this video shows ignorance on behalf of the individual.
It is true that you can never be too careful. I think it is simply a matter of trying to remain focused on the firearm at all times that you are handling it.
It is way too easy to get complacent after you have done the same thing thousands of times...usually if it is something new, you will pay attention.
@Comanchero762 This has happened to me once also from having some 9mm ammo getting mixed in with my 40s&w ammo. I've also been shooting and reloading for 30yrs so yea Murphy's law is always around. Simply can not build up enough chamber pressure as the gas escapes around the bullet to have any chance of it ever hurting a quality gun. I've even thought about shooting a few across the crony to see just how reduced the velocity would be.
Comancho --I did the same thing today (2/3/12). I have four GLOCKS (19, 21, 23, and 27). I too took my Glock 19 and 23 in front of me. I had both guns in front of me. I let my friend shoot the 27. We were talking and I accidently took the 23 and loaded a magazine from the 19. I had the same results...thank God that this did not hurt my GLOCK. The casings were bottle necked and did not eject. I too have learned my lesson.
I did the same exact thing with my springfield XD's. Its a hard way to learn from your mistakes. But some times you need a friendly reminder to pay attention to what your doing.
Well good for you that you didn't try to shoot a .40 in a 9mm... I don't think it would have loaded the bigger cartridge into the chamber though, surely has to jam up when releasing the slide catch
Maybe it's time for you to start marking things with color codes...maybe everything .40 cal is blue dot, 9mm is red dot....I dunno, but I don't want you to hurt yourself bro
@kimberHD45 As I'm getting older and my memory gets worse, I'm afraid I'd mix up my color coding......but I guess if I did color code them, my 9mm cases fired through the .40S&W would have to be purple ; )
Thank you for your concern....I've just kind of learned to shoot one caliber of Glock at a time, it's a simple fix for my simple mind......
An internal balistics comment. It seems that the 40 Cal glock requires 40 cal ammo to properly blow back the slide. Since the 9MM ammo worked about 60% of the time I would conclude that the blowback action needs the additional force to work properly but not much more. (Suprised the barrel wasn't damaged as the 9mm wobbled down the barrel.)
You might try sub sonic ammo to see if it creates enough force to make your Glock blow back properly. What was the 9mm bullet grain and powder charge?
@disc999golfer999 I wish I could tell you what load I used, but I didn't document it at the time. I'll look back through my load book and see if I can figure out which load I used, but it would still probably be a guess. As for cycling the action, it is interesting to note that both the .40 S&W and 9mm run chamber pressures of ~ 35,000 psi according to SAAMI specs, with 9mm +p running at ~ 38,500 psi, so maybe that has something to do with the physics of cycling the slide...just a guess though.
My buddy and I made the mistake of shooting 380 auto out of a 9mm once... it sounded really muffled and weak like the ammo was wet or something. the gun wouldn't cycle either. the ammo looks very similiar and some of the 380 makers mark the brass with 9mm. Lesson learned!
I've seen some wild things happen with guns.....fortunately none of them have been fatal.....yet.
It's easy to get complacent when you've been doing something for a long while, that's usually when things jump up and bite you right square in the heinie. ; )
@Cutyoudown000 You're probably right......that would be one real sonofagun to get to chamber properly, plus, can you imagine what the magazine follower would look like!? ; )
its funny that you did this given the similarity of those two weapons. if im not mistaken you can buy a 9 mm barrel from glock and put it on the 40 so almost as having two guns at once. can even use the 40 cal clip to hold the 9 mm. this also i possible with .357 sig.
@endwar589 Ah yes Grashopper.....While HK is truly a fine example of German engineering, a wise man once taught me that it is best to take my $850 and purchase one Glock with 1500 rounds of ammunition plus some extra magazines and a fine holster, than to spend all $850 on a finely engineered handgun.
After all, a fine handgun with no ammunition......... is simply a brick with a trigger ; )
we've the same experience pal. my wife accidentally loaded my caspian cal .40 with a 9mm round and fired it. as her range officer, i stopped her and thought it was just a squib load. But when i checked the barrel of the pistol with a stick, i was so surprised why in a world that a whole .40 round will fall in the barrel. after i checked, we both laugh because the round was a 9mm. the casing was the same as yours, lol. honest mistake, of course.
Happens more than you might think! I was at the range the other day and I was trying to keep an eye on my new shooter friend and I accidentally loaded a few .380 shells into my 9mm clip and shot them. I must have reached for the wrong box of ammo when I wasn't looking. I should have followed the old rule, one gun and ammo out at a time!! The gun was fine, shot cycled the slide and extracted the shell fine. Just made a strange sound when it fired. I checked the barrel and it appears ok..........
@xd40hcsc It's really interesting to see how many people have had a similar experience. When I first posted this video, I was under the impression that I was one of a very few who had ever done something like this....don't ask me why I thought that, but I did. This has been a very enlightening experience, to see how many people have done the same thing and learned the results of those events. It looks like many of our firearms are much stronger than we give them credit for. (Thankfully!)
This video wasnt so bad, the problem is thatttttt youuuuuuu takkkkkkkkkeeee sooooooooo loooooooooong tooooooooooo geeeeeeeeet worrrrrrrrrds outtttttttt offffff yourrrrrrrr mouthhhhhhhhhhhh
@parabellumwarrior Glad you found it tolerable.......you know, if you cut back on the caffeine intake a little...your hands won't shake like that when you're typing ; )
you would be amazed at what can shoot out of what. i used to hang out at my local gunsmith shop a lot and one day someone brought in a 270 that he had fired a 308 round through. he wanted to have it checked out to see if it was still safe to shoot and to have the case removed. the case was formed perfectly to the chamber right up to where it starts to neck down and the gun was fine.
I was shooting with a cop last year and he did the exact same thing. This guy has been a cop for 35 years. We couldnt figure out why his .40 wouldnt cycle. I think it happens a lot. The .40 would accept the 9mm mag.
@CountryPrepper It always makes one feel better to know that their embarrasment is shared with others much wiser and more experienced.... ; )
It is interesting to note that Glock mags will interchange with with any other pistol in the same frame size/family...9mm, .40, 357 Sig. I assume that the 10mm and .45acp would probably interchange as well, but I don't own either and couldn't confirm that. Maybe someone else has both and could verify or disprove that.
I once fired about 10 rounds of .38 super +P through a Ruger GP100 .357 6 inch. Everything went well, but, I would not do it again without further research.
thats scary, i accidentally shot 44mag out of my 454 casull ruger super redhawk alaskan, it sounded funny, but it hit the target on point. the case looked to be a little stretched but the gun shot 454 with no problems afterwards, all because i stacked the same bvac ammo ontop of eachother, i agree, definately becareful when loading your guns
@SNUBNOSESAM It is an amazingly strong little casing. I was surprised that a couple of the fired cases didn't split....and these were cases that had already been reloaded a couple of times! Of the ones that did split, none of them made it into the web area as you already observed.
Rented a gun at the range. Bought 50 9mm rounds of reloads they gave us a .40 Glock by mistake. 1st round went but it jammed cuz the slide would not go back.
@Comanchero762 I wish I could have seen the casing. It would have been interesting to see if it had indeed "necked up" I have a new Glock 22 coming in a few days and WILL NOT being trying to reproduce the event =D.
@fresnel149 If I recall correctly, it was more like a shotgun pattern, and I believe that a few of the holes may have been keyholed from the round tumbling when it hit the paper at 25 yards. It was one of those things where I was more concerned about my embarrassment at doing something so stupid....combined with my concern for what I may have done to the pistol, that the grouping of the shots was not really important at that moment. I also continued to put more rounds through that target later.
@Comanchero762 i watched this video because i am getting a 9mm conversion from .40 s&w......so after watching this video...ya...i think i will wait for that new barrel from storm lakes instead of just shooting a 9mm in my standerd glock 23 :)
@212tez You can definitely load .40 cal ammo into a 9mm Glock mag.
My G19 mag will take 11 rounds of .40 and it will cycle through my G23 by hand, although there is some slight resistance and binding. I don"t know if it would cycle it through while shooting, but I suspect that the violence of the action would probably cycle and chamber the rounds with an occasional malfunction or two (or not). Could be an interesting experiment to try at the range the next time I'm out there.
Glad I'm not the only one that's made this mistake. You would think I would learn my lesson, right? I also managed to shoot a couple rounds of .40 through my .45 1911. Geez!!
Glad you didn't pickup the 9mm and stuff a bunch of 40s through it.
FYI, .357 sig and 40sw glock mags will hold 9mm ammo and cycle the ammo through the weapon, did it with dummy rounds. the 9mm rounds were only barely being held, but in an emergency, you could use the 357/40 mags in a 9mm.
@georgiacatweazle If I'd have tried to chamber the .40's in the 9mm, I'd have noticed something was up right away....A 9mm will definitely not chamber a .40....but then, it wouldn't have been nearly as interesting ; )
I've noticed what you said about the mags is true, I actually ran some 9mm through a .40 magazine when I first purchased the conversion barrel just to see if it would work. Surprisingly enough it did, and didn't even malfunction. I wouldn't want to bet my life on it though!
@Hedgehog2292 I usually pick them up at my local shooting range, but there are a number of good sources on the internet that offer used brass for reloading. My best bet on that one is GunBroker auction site, or quite often Midway USA will have some runs of used brass. If those don't work for you just do a search for " once fired brass" and you should be able to find a source pretty easily. Hopefully that helps.
Had the same thing happen at a class at the range where they provided the ammo. Got through the first magazine, had 2 FTE, then noticed the second had a ruptured case. Funny thing is, they were all good shots on paper.
@odiekokee That was the thing that really surprised me too. After everything went down, I was dropping those 9mm rounds straight through the barrel and thinking to myself, "How in the heck did I even hit the target?" Those bullets had to be bouncing around the barrel on the way out.....not to mention the radical drop in pressure after the casing blew out!
I've seen this first hand, but it was with an inexperienced female. The gun kept going bang so she kept on shooting. Then after a few the gun didn't cycle so I came over to help and to my surprise she had loaded a Glock 40 with 9mm and the same casing deformation occurred. It is an honest mistake that can be disastrous in a critical situation. I chose the tried and true 45 acp and the capable 380 acp. Live and learn and if one doesn't t you surely die from something that could have been avoided.
I have mistakenly loaded a 9mm in my Sig 239 .40 and it failed to load. It is easy to confuse ammunition when you shoot many similar guns with different sized ammo.
@jrossi9250 True.....I have since adopted the policy of having only one caliber at a time on my bench at the range. I simply put the others back in the case after firing to make sure I avoid this mixup in the future.
I know I can be a little soft-spoken, especially In some of the areas/times that I have to shoot my vids in. I'll work on getting the volume up. Thanks for the suggestion....and for watching.
I thought that only I could do something like that. I loaded some berrys double ended, plated wadcutters with a light charges of unique. the charge recommended for lead bullets and got not one but three bullets stuck in barrel. thinking that I just missed the target I then fired a 357 medium round through gun (while range officer was watching) and fired the gun. they all came out but looked like a shotgun. I used a ruger gp100 with only a slight bulge in barrel.
@smuger357 WOW! Now that is what I call an experience that would have me checking my shorts : 0
Glad to hear that the barrel didn't rupture. That Ruger sounds like a pretty tough little revolver to hold up to those pressures. Glad to know that you weren't hurt.
hey man like your vids alot.. i have a problem where i was reading my lee manual on relaoding 40 s& w and it says that i cannot use reloaded ammo in glock, or glock type weapons. "autos" .(Do not use relaods in glock or similar guns with chambers that do not support the cartridge due to the intrusion of the feed ramp.) any ideas on what i could do.. i know should have searched this out before i bought a press as the only guns i own are glocks at this time.. thanks "the noob!"
@mjmoto72 Thank you for the compliments on the videos! I hope to get some more up soon. My suggestion on the reloading is this: First, don't do anything you don't feel comfortable with. Second, many manufacturers will put that statement on their products to cover their butts. Third, I personally have loaded a few thousand rounds of Glock-fired .40 and have never had a problem with it. That being said, I never load "Hot" loads, I always carefully inspect my brass during all stages of reloading,
(con't) and I usually discard my brass after 2-3 reloadings regardless of whether or not it looks bad. I have not had a case rupture yet. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I have a feeling that this issue is a combination of overhyped internet lore, combined with some actual instances of people loading some hot reloads and running into trouble.
(con"t) There are also aftermarket barrel manufacturers like Lone Wolf, KKM, EFK Firedragon, and others that make a barrel with a more fully supported chamber. If you are uncomfortable with the Glock chamber this may be an option, however, the cost is always a consideration there. Either way, do what you feel the safest with. Thanks again for the compliments, and stay tuned....I will get some more vids up soon!
Great commentary! Hey, don't feel bad. I've seen this happen about 6-8 times now. I'm in the type of environment where I have a pretty good chance of witnessing law enforcement officers do this. It happens a lot! We've actually taken an old glock and done this on purpose because we were curious as the the amount of pressure and recoil that would be felt. It was just as you described.
@Patriot36 wow. scary .. glad to see nothing bad happened.. we all gooff up. just have to hope that when it happens we dont hurt outselves or anyone else. i never take 2 of the same gun to the range. dont feel bad man i loaded up my glock and when i came home to clean it i put the slide back for take down and when i went to pull the trigger i realized there was still a round in it that i never ejected..it happens man... lucky i had the thing in a safe direction and i didnt pull the trigger..
i did the same thing the other day. accidentally shot 9 mil out a glock 23c. the only thing that was odd was i noticed the slide wouldnt cycle and a slight accuracy diff i thought it was a problem with the firearm. once i noticed the diff i had my uncle who owns a gun shop. not a thing wrong with the gun. he thought it was funny cause he was the one who handed me the glock 40 instead of 9 mil

It's easy to get complacent when you've been doing something for a long while, that's usually when things jump up and bite you right square in the heinie. ; )

Genius! You've invented the inverse of .357 sig. It will probably now be produced by winchester. I don't think it will catch on buddy.

@Cutyoudown000 You're probably right......that would be one real sonofagun to get to chamber properly, plus, can you imagine what the magazine follower would look like!? ; )

@Comanchero762 LOL. Oh, yeah.
Cutyoudown000 3 months ago
its funny that you did this given the similarity of those two weapons. if im not mistaken you can buy a 9 mm barrel from glock and put it on the 40 so almost as having two guns at once. can even use the 40 cal clip to hold the 9 mm. this also i possible with .357 sig.

@Comanchero762 : / my parents say that glocks are for people that cant afford fine german engineering like H&K
endwar589 3 months ago

I checked the barrel and it appears ok..........
xd40hcsc 4 months ago
@xd40hcsc It's really interesting to see how many people have had a similar experience. When I first posted this video, I was under the impression that I was one of a very few who had ever done something like this....don't ask me why I thought that, but I did. This has been a very enlightening experience, to see how many people have done the same thing and learned the results of those events. It looks like many of our firearms are much stronger than we give them credit for. (Thankfully!)

you would be amazed at what can shoot out of what. i used to hang out at my local gunsmith shop a lot and one day someone brought in a 270 that he had fired a 308 round through. he wanted to have it checked out to see if it was still safe to shoot and to have the case removed. the case was formed perfectly to the chamber right up to where it starts to neck down and the gun was fine.
ihearvoices22 5 months ago
I was shooting with a cop last year and he did the exact same thing. This guy has been a cop for 35 years. We couldnt figure out why his .40 wouldnt cycle. I think it happens a lot. The .40 would accept the 9mm mag.
CountryPrepper 5 months ago
@CountryPrepper It always makes one feel better to know that their embarrasment is shared with others much wiser and more experienced.... ; )
It is interesting to note that Glock mags will interchange with with any other pistol in the same frame size/family...9mm, .40, 357 Sig. I assume that the 10mm and .45acp would probably interchange as well, but I don't own either and couldn't confirm that. Maybe someone else has both and could verify or disprove that.
Comanchero762 5 months ago
I once fired about 10 rounds of .38 super +P through a Ruger GP100 .357 6 inch. Everything went well, but, I would not do it again without further research.
s14sr 5 months ago
@s14sr
.38 Special (+P) is commonly used in .357 handguns.
I do it all the time as do many shooters.
You will not harm the gun or yourself.
Never try it the other way around.
.357 ammo will not fit in a .38 Special cylinder because the case length is too long.
So it almost never happens.
hammerogod 5 months ago
@hammerogod .38super isn't the same thing as .38 special. In either case, he's probably safe because the .357 is a high pressure round itself.

@SNUBNOSESAM It is an amazingly strong little casing. I was surprised that a couple of the fired cases didn't split....and these were cases that had already been reloaded a couple of times! Of the ones that did split, none of them made it into the web area as you already observed.
Comanchero762 6 months ago
@SNUBNOSESAM Would that happen to be the load data for the S&W 9x40 wide? ; )
Comanchero762 6 months ago
Rented a gun at the range. Bought 50 9mm rounds of reloads they gave us a .40 Glock by mistake. 1st round went but it jammed cuz the slide would not go back.
hunkgod 7 months ago
@hunkgod Sounds like those 9mm reloads needed to be a little hotter in order to cycle the slide properly...... : )
(And for those of you who may not understand a dry sense of humor.........I AM joking!)
Comanchero762 7 months ago
@Comanchero762 I wish I could have seen the casing. It would have been interesting to see if it had indeed "necked up" I have a new Glock 22 coming in a few days and WILL NOT being trying to reproduce the event =D.

Comanchero762 7 months ago
@Comanchero762 Oh well. How'd it do, though? Decent grouping?
fresnel149 7 months ago
@fresnel149 If I recall correctly, it was more like a shotgun pattern, and I believe that a few of the holes may have been keyholed from the round tumbling when it hit the paper at 25 yards. It was one of those things where I was more concerned about my embarrassment at doing something so stupid....combined with my concern for what I may have done to the pistol, that the grouping of the shots was not really important at that moment. I also continued to put more rounds through that target later.

can you cycle .40 cal ammo thur a 9mm mag because ive loaded my 9mm 33 round mag up with 31 .40 rounds on accident
212tez 8 months ago
@212tez You can definitely load .40 cal ammo into a 9mm Glock mag.
My G19 mag will take 11 rounds of .40 and it will cycle through my G23 by hand, although there is some slight resistance and binding. I don"t know if it would cycle it through while shooting, but I suspect that the violence of the action would probably cycle and chamber the rounds with an occasional malfunction or two (or not). Could be an interesting experiment to try at the range the next time I'm out there.

Thanks for the comment, it's always nice to know that one is not alone in the art of self-humiliation!
Comanchero762 9 months ago
Glad you didn't pickup the 9mm and stuff a bunch of 40s through it.
FYI, .357 sig and 40sw glock mags will hold 9mm ammo and cycle the ammo through the weapon, did it with dummy rounds. the 9mm rounds were only barely being held, but in an emergency, you could use the 357/40 mags in a 9mm.
georgiacatweazle 9 months ago
@georgiacatweazle If I'd have tried to chamber the .40's in the 9mm, I'd have noticed something was up right away....A 9mm will definitely not chamber a .40....but then, it wouldn't have been nearly as interesting ; )
I've noticed what you said about the mags is true, I actually ran some 9mm through a .40 magazine when I first purchased the conversion barrel just to see if it would work. Surprisingly enough it did, and didn't even malfunction. I wouldn't want to bet my life on it though!

@Comanchero762 no problem, do you know where i can find empty/used 9mm casings?
Hedgehog2292 9 months ago
@Hedgehog2292 I usually pick them up at my local shooting range, but there are a number of good sources on the internet that offer used brass for reloading. My best bet on that one is GunBroker auction site, or quite often Midway USA will have some runs of used brass. If those don't work for you just do a search for " once fired brass" and you should be able to find a source pretty easily. Hopefully that helps.
Comanchero762 9 months ago
@Hedgehog2292 surplusammo(dot) com has once fired 9mm brass. I think it is $36.99 per thousand.
500SWMAGOPERATOR 9 months ago
Had the same thing happen at a class at the range where they provided the ammo. Got through the first magazine, had 2 FTE, then noticed the second had a ruptured case. Funny thing is, they were all good shots on paper.
odiekokee 9 months ago
@odiekokee That was the thing that really surprised me too. After everything went down, I was dropping those 9mm rounds straight through the barrel and thinking to myself, "How in the heck did I even hit the target?" Those bullets had to be bouncing around the barrel on the way out.....not to mention the radical drop in pressure after the casing blew out!
It still amazes me.
Comanchero762 9 months ago
This is one of the many reasons you don't buy glocks lol.
Aaotrom 10 months ago
@Aaotrom because it doesn't blow up when you use the wrong ammo lol.
dafragsta 5 months ago

It is easy to confuse ammunition when you shoot many similar guns with different sized ammo.
jrossi9250 11 months ago
@jrossi9250 True.....I have since adopted the policy of having only one caliber at a time on my bench at the range. I simply put the others back in the case after firing to make sure I avoid this mixup in the future.

Comanchero762 11 months ago
I thought that only I could do something like that. I loaded some berrys double ended, plated wadcutters with a light charges of unique. the charge recommended for lead bullets and got not one but three bullets stuck in barrel. thinking that I just missed the target I then fired a 357 medium round through gun (while range officer was watching) and fired the gun. they all came out but looked like a shotgun. I used a ruger gp100 with only a slight bulge in barrel.
smuger357 1 year ago
@smuger357 WOW! Now that is what I call an experience that would have me checking my shorts : 0

hey man like your vids alot.. i have a problem where i was reading my lee manual on relaoding 40 s& w and it says that i cannot use reloaded ammo in glock, or glock type weapons. "autos" .(Do not use relaods in glock or similar guns with chambers that do not support the cartridge due to the intrusion of the feed ramp.) any ideas on what i could do.. i know should have searched this out before i bought a press as the only guns i own are glocks at this time.. thanks "the noob!"
mjmoto72 1 year ago
@mjmoto72 Thank you for the compliments on the videos! I hope to get some more up soon. My suggestion on the reloading is this: First, don't do anything you don't feel comfortable with. Second, many manufacturers will put that statement on their products to cover their butts. Third, I personally have loaded a few thousand rounds of Glock-fired .40 and have never had a problem with it. That being said, I never load "Hot" loads, I always carefully inspect my brass during all stages of reloading,
Comanchero762 1 year ago
(con't) and I usually discard my brass after 2-3 reloadings regardless of whether or not it looks bad. I have not had a case rupture yet. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I have a feeling that this issue is a combination of overhyped internet lore, combined with some actual instances of people loading some hot reloads and running into trouble.
Comanchero762 1 year ago
(con"t) There are also aftermarket barrel manufacturers like Lone Wolf, KKM, EFK Firedragon, and others that make a barrel with a more fully supported chamber. If you are uncomfortable with the Glock chamber this may be an option, however, the cost is always a consideration there. Either way, do what you feel the safest with. Thanks again for the compliments, and stay tuned....I will get some more vids up soon!
Comanchero762 1 year ago
