In WWII the average time spent in combat for the average soldier was 10 days a year, in Vietnam it was 240 days a year, up to 30 days non stop, this war was a fucking joke, JFK wanted to pull the troops out, but the military couldn't have that. @MrWafflehouse99 I'm sorry to hear that. My grandfather was in 'nam as well, and he never talks about it. I don't think he has severe PTSD because he is able to enjoy life even when he is alone. I hope your grandfather can eventually cope with what he has seen, I'm sure its very hard.

My Grandfather was in Vietnam in 1971-72. He was SFC in 101st Screaming Eagles. I respect himso much. The same goes for all Veterans.
