Can't you just directly save artwork from google images? OR can't you use windows media player, put all the artwork on there, then sync it directly to the Zune?
@niffleheim3399 I did. though I metadata tag all my mp3s using 3rd party software. Zune doesn't like what/how I tag it, so zune is making it worse....not me.
Wait doesn't Zune Software have a database of album art? I also have a problem with that then i try using find album info then it searches on what I think other users have with a similar album and it copies the track title and of course the album art on what it searched on but i was disappointed that it was not hi-res! and the copying of the track titles also replaces the raw file which can make a mistake. doesn't zune have a collection of album art like iTunes?
Zune sucks!!!!! iPod has better stuff. Jail breaking is amazing. Free shit 4 life!!! The zune. U really need a computer 4 that peaice of shit!!! iPod touch u don't need a computer 2 get ur songs and movies it's on the iPod. And the iPod touch can go on YouTube e. If it's jail broken u can get flash player.
I don't know about yours, but mine displays the album art I had set to them. I changed them up a long time ago in itunes, and when I switched over to zune and loaded up all my music files from itunes, it used the album art that was assigned to all the songs. IE: A muffin for a song about muffins.
I agree that you are rather locked in to using the Zune software with the Zune, but Apple does that basically with the ipod as well.
As to your album art problem I don't notice it here with my Zune software. I'm wondering if in settings you have it set to "Replace all media information" ? I have learned in MS media players to check the box for "Only add missing information"
You could also simply uncheck the box for update album art and metadata and not have Zune software mess with it at all.
Right click on the the album and click on "Find Album Info". The ZUNE software does read embedded art I don't know why yours isn't, all 2,233 songs of mine have embedded art and all the albums are recognized
I'll have to agree with Freddy, its retarded to tell consumers not to get a zune because SOME album art MAY be incorrectly matched. There is an easy solution: Right click the incorrect album art and browse to a correct downloaded image! Proper fix to a small problem.
Understand, I'm not a MS or Zune fanboy, I just dont see the justification in making a 9 minute video about such a minor issue and then telling people not to buy it. when not fully exploring the problem and its solutions.
It's correct to say that album arts are attached or linked to a corresponding mp3 and to fix your problem all you need to do is to copy all of your album arts from your original mp3's and paste them into your zune folder you showed. To see the album art attached to a corresponding album you have to change folder settings to show you hidden files. once you do this you'll be able to see all of "embedded" album arts and paste them back where they belong. this is never happened to me with the zune
First of all: if you dont like the video, dont fucking watch it, and dont leave a negative comment about how retarded i and/or my video is! second your both wrong. not 1 of my mp3s has a hidden jpeg associated with it. All my mp3s are metadata tagged. programs like media monkey, itunes, winamp work great. and i honestly have nothing bad to say. if i could use them injunction with my zune it would be great. but the zune is locked from any real tweaks or software to make it better, or different.
relax dude! I watch whatever video I want and if you are passing on sealy remarks about an app anybody is going to call you on it. You could be right when you say that your files are metadata tagged but you see both WMP and ZUNE use hidden jpg cover albums attached to your mp3's. So your problem is probably a clash of different ways to show your album covers but I assure you that winamp, mm, or even less itunes can do a better music experience than zune does. get a zune pass and see. peace!
I see this is a problem getting the same album cover for all the "not found " album artists but. I think this is stupid to say "whatever the software says you have to do" dork all you have to do is right click on the actual album and edit all the information or even search online to find the correct album. I know this sucks but no software does it perfect. not itunes nor winamp. It's wrong to say the album arts are embedded in your mp3's. You clearly don't know what you're talking about.
